Date of Stay:

Very nice folks. Very good dog park and room to walk dogs. Quiet. Convenient. Overpriced (KOA). We were very happy here for one night.

Date of Stay:

Truly a "resort" very large and busy. Sites are well spaced and everything worked well. Only gripe is that of all of the KOAs that we have stayed at: this one could have provided an escort to our site.

Just here for one night at the end of their season, but we loved it. Pulled through back in their group area. It was great. About 10 to 15 miles off the interstate and you wonder if you are going in the right direction but well worth it. Everything worked and folks were super nice.

Date of Stay:

Nice park, nice people. Stayed overnight and everything was fine. It's a little larger than typical KOA. Dog run was pretty small but at least they are trying.

Absolutely beautiful place. Folks are very nice, especially one gentleman. Great " nature walk." Peaceful and pristine. All hookups worked well and site was mostly level. Word of warning: if it has rained and you have a rig that is of any size, you may have trouble getting out of your site. Worth the worry, but be warned.

Huge ( long) site. Very nice campground. I think there were more than 2 over the air channels, but we were out a lot. Very well maintained where the campers are: just don't walk down the back road to the DUMP. Very depressing in such a beautiful place. Folks are very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful views, quiet, very friendly helpful owners. Sites are level with all connections in good order. Wonderful places to walk ourselves and the dogs. Very convenient to all areas of the White Mountains.

Very nice park. Sites are big enough for large RV but may take a little wrangling to get into. Good access roads, friendly efficient staff and spectacular views of the lake. Site was level and very shaded and private. Nice area to visit.

This is the most beautiful campground that we have ever stayed at. Staff was friendly and helpful, all connections worked perfectly and site was level. Lots of open space to walk the pups. Centrally located not far off the interstate. Perfect for us.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Quiet, everything works, site a little off level but doable. Great dog run, river is pretty and close to good day trips. Very nice folks, good signage.

The thing that defines this park for us is the road from the interstate. Very bad up and down and narrow. That being said, other than the segregation of dogs, it really is not a bad park. We had no hookups and the site wasn't level but doable and the site was big. It was clean and the folks were nice. One surprise to us was NO ALCOHOL Really? After that road?

Date of Stay:

Not a typical KOA. We were allowed to choose our site, which was roomier than expected. Level, everything worked. Nice nature trail to walk the pups on, very quiet and folks friendly. Only downside is the road in is a little scary.

Truly a resort. Everything is offered here and they seem to work hard to keep things up. That being said they do pack you in here. Be sure to check the length of your site- we couldn't have gotten in to ours without nice neighbors moving their vehicles. The golf carts seem to have toned down since our last visit, thank goodness. They also recycle which is great. Not our favorite type of campground, but the nicest one on the beach.

OK overnight stop. Rained very hard and area drained well.typical tight KOA but everything worked and people were friendly. Lake and birds were pretty.

Nice Alabama State Park. Very quiet (no football game). Great place for walks with the pups. Good security. Much to explore- will take more time here next time. Level sites and good 30 amp hookup.
