Kah-Nee-Ta Resort & Spa, Warm Springs, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Pulled into the RV park area....following the signs. There was a sign saying registration booth closed, register at the lodge. No indication of where the "lodge" is. Had to pound on the door of the spa to get someone to help us. She said since it is off season, Sept 28, nothing was open in the RV area, no water slides, no gift shop, nothing but the spa. Luckily the shuttle driver came thru and we were able to unhook our car and follow her to the lodge, 1/4 mile away. The registration gal knew nothing about the Rv park, and encouraged us to choose a site with a river view.....problem is the "view" is blocked by a
15ft high berm. She asked for our credit card for the rest of the charges...when I asked what charges because I had paid in advance, she stated that was just for the first night and the fee was $70 a night. I was not informed of that on the phone and had assumed the 69.88 chg was for 2 night since it was "off season". We decided to stay one night only and will not return. They are so unorganized it is ridiculous. The park itself is very nice, well groomed. We camped at Kah-Nee-Ta Resort & Spa in a Motorhome.

Cheyenne KOA, Cheyenne, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very clean and well run KOA. The only things keeping it from a higher rating is the fact it is close to the highway, so there is some noise, and the rate seems a little high. It is very easy in and out and easy access to propane purchases. The sites are level gravel, most have a tree, and have a picnic table. The managers told us that 98% of their business is overnight travelers, so there is quite a bit of in and out traffic. We stayed for 3 nights. We camped at Cheyenne KOA in a Motorhome.

Tips for other Campers:

Plenty to do in Cheyenne, visit the Visitor Center at the Depot and tour the museum. Ride the trolley for a 90 min tour of town and a narration of Cheyenne history. We also visited the State Capitol building and toured the old Govenors Mansion, very interesting!

Alderwood RV Express, Mead, Washington

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

We will not return to this park! Sites extremely narrow, no way could we put out our awning and barely enough space for two lawn chair; forget about a lounge chair! Table unusable. We called and got our site number and were told they would be in the office til 5:30. However, we got there at 5:01 and they were closed. Next am when we checked in we were told we couldnt access the Wi-Fi til after 5pm. They had no paperwork or maps or anything about the park for us! We camped at Alderwood RV Express in a Motorhome.

Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground, Wilson, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $75.00
Overall Rating:

It is way too expensive for this campground. Roads are uneven, rutted, gravel roads, and the sites are uneven. We couldn't even figure out which fire pit or table was for our site. Our fire pit was less than 2 feet from the next site sewer hookup. At midnight dogs were still outside, running and barking, a car was running and people talking loudly. We are never staying here again! We camped at Fireside Resort - Jackson Hole Campground in a Motorhome.
