The road coming into camp has a bit to be desired. It is a "1 lane ONLY" gravel road for 4.5 miles. Do NOT want to meet another rig on this road! A bit disappointed at this horse camp. The restrooms were out of tp and the garbage was piled high in them. The office area was nice and clean with room to sit and visit. Wi-Fi available in the main office and also phone available as no cell service in this remote area. The owner leads the riders out for a daily ride at 9:30 am. We had 20+ riders in our group. The so-called trails were more like deer paths, and the horses were often walking over and through thick trees without being able to "see" where you are stepping. Not the type of trail riding I prefer as I'd rather ride out in our own group where we know what types of horses we are riding with, which is just much safer. And getting poked and stabbed by trees for myself and my horse is not what I prefer. Didn't see any wild life as the group was too big.

This is the BEST horse camp we've ever been to, and we've been horse camping for more than 10 years! The trails are awesome! We saw a herd of elk, dozens of deer, and many wild turkeys while riding. Beautiful covered corrals for the horses, with easy access to water and manure piles. (Manure piles are hauled away each day, so NO FLIES). Everything is so handy here! Upkeep of the park was excellent, and the owners make you "feel at home"! Easy going and they love what they're doing. They have the most awesome cabins as well, and not everybody is "horse people". They welcome ATVs and golfers and just anybody that wants to camp with great accommodations. We only stayed for 3 days, because we were checking out other horse camps as well. Next year we will be spending our entire 10 days at Broken Arrow! We were so disappointed by the 3rd camp we went to, we almost turned around and came back to Broken Arrow. Now we know better. We LOVED it at Broken Arrow! See you next year!

This was a very nice campground. Most corrals are covered, plenty of corrals to keep horses separate. Very clean restrooms and showers, with laundry available and a small restaurant on site. Wi-Fi is available if you are close enough to the office/restaurant which also has a HUGE covered porch with lots of rocking chairs, tables for playing cards or checkers and seating area for all to enjoy. Very friendly owners. Biggest downfall was the camp sites are very un-level, so bring lots of wood for leveling your unit. The trails are easy and very scenic. Riding to Lakota Lake is a "must do".
