Arrowhead RV Resort, Cascade, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is by the river. The river is so shallow that you can actually walk in it. Craft class is offered on site. There are a lot of trees and the camp sites are close together and the roads are narrow. Sites are not leveled and more dust than gravel. The Strand, a walking trail, was a nice nature hike. Getting wifi signal at our rig was next to impossible and the campground rule prohibits the use of any wifi signal booster. Wifi is available in the rec room by the office. There are two small laundry rooms and costs $1 per load of washing and 25 cents for 20 minutes drying time. Our T-Mobile cell had very good reception. We won't be coming back as this is a very dusty campground. We camped at Arrowhead RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

McCall RV Resort, McCall, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

This campground provides excellent service. Trash is picked up every day and packages are delivered to the rig. The staff is friendly and professional. A very classy resort. It is very nice that they have pool hours for adults only. The facility is kept immaculate except for the laundry room which needed a good dusting. Plenty of washers and dryers and the cost is $1.50 to wash and 25 cents for 10 minutes of drying time. Wifi signal is fair but drops constantly. Our T-Mobile had consistant 3-4 bar signal. The afternoon sun is brutal which we believe to be how the campsites are situated. Come prepared with shade screen for the afternoon sun. There are some nice walking trails around the campground. We will definitely come back for another week. We camped at McCall RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Clearwater Crossing RV Park, Orofino, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2017 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Most of the sites at this RV park are along the river. We were at a back-in site along the river edge for a week. The ground is well kept but cleanliness and neatness at some permanent sites are not enforced as we saw one with a mattress under the rig and others appeared trashy. Every site has a concrete pad and a picnic table. Trees are at each site by the river's edge and provide some shade from the afternoon sun but most of them are not mature enough to block the afternoon sun from heating up the rig. Unfortunately the awning does not help except during the high noon. The laundry room is small with three washers and dryers and very well maintained. Each washer load costs $1.50 and dryer load costs $1. We had T-Mobile and couldn't get any reception during our stay. The wifi signal is strong but connection drops constantly. We won't be returning to this campground because of the unreliable communication with the outside world made this campground undesirable for us. We camped at Clearwater Crossing RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Blackwell Island RV Park, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $55.00
Overall Rating:

At $55 nightly rate and not offering anything except the basic laundry, bathroom and horrible wifi is way too expensive. The marina is very well kept but the actual campground appears rundown with grass dying and growing right under our rig where we stayed for three nights. Laundry room was clean and has ample washers at $1.50 per load or $1.75 for a super cycle. It only requires 25 cents to start the dryer but only for a few minutes. The most frustrating is the wifi connection. The connection kept on getting knock off and it didn't matter if we connected using laptop or cell phone and we were parked right next to the wifi antenna. For the price they charge I thought they would at least invest in good wifi equipment as nothing else extra is being offered. Our T-Mobile cell had good reception outside our rig. This place charges exceeding high price and doesn't even offer the basic amenity. We won't be returning to this one. We camped at Blackwell Island RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Bear Den RV Resort , Grangeville, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

We were not able to find any resort value at this campground. The basic amenity of shower, laundry and wifi were offered but wifi was not available during the three nights we stayed. Asked the router to be rebooted but was told by the staff at the front desk that she wasn't having problem therefore the problem had to be our phones. They do have a nice recreation room for a get together. Laundry room is clean and costs $1.50 for each load of wash and drying. The campground is built on a slope with the office at the bottom of the slope. Our T-Mobile cell phone did not get any reception at the office and the front desk staff said only Verizon gets reception at the campground. We learned later that T-Mobile works well if you are near the entrance of the RV park. We won't be coming back to this one as it is not customer service friendly and the basic amenity is just not there. We camped at Bear Den RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Snake River RV Resort, Homedale, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

A nice campground that is situated right behind a factory and is very well maintained. All the lots are grass and plenty of trees. Yes, there are a lot of bugs but the shade was nice. The river contains mainly catfish as it's very slow moving. There is only one stall and shower in each of the gender bathroom and kept very clean. Laundry has two washers and two dryers. Cost to wash is $1 and 75 cents to dry. There is a small farmer's market on Thursday from 3:30 - 7:30 pm. Wifi was decent and our T-Mobile cell phones had good reception. We camped at Snake River RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain Home RV Park, Mountain Home, Idaho

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground and very friendly staff. The campground is very well maintained and everything well marked. This place has a pool and spa but we didn't get to use it. The wifi is provided by tengointernet and slow. We had a pull through site and had our own little patch of grass area and a picnic table that we didn't get to use due to the windy weather. This is a beautiful campground that we will definitely come back again. We camped at Mountain Home RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Double Dice RV Park, Elko, Nevada

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This place had a major upgrade since we stayed here last time. Every transient site has a patch of grass and a picnic table. Not much amenity and the wifi is useless when the park is busy. We relied on our T-Mobile which had good reception. I feel the price is a bit high for not much amenity but the place is very maintained. We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Mountain View RV Park & Campground, Sundance, Wyoming

Overall Rating:

We really appreciate the staff contacting us prior to our arrival to let us know of the heavy fog condition. Check-in staff was very friendly and informative of what to see around the area. Wifi is available but had to connect. We needed extra long hose for the sewer hook up as the connection is passed the end of our fifth wheel. Water pressure is high and need a regulator to connect. Our site is level. This is a very quiet campground and we will definitely come back again. We camped at Mountain View RV Park & Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Indian Campground & RV Park, Buffalo, Wyoming

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $42.00

We were charged full price but was told that was with the Good Sam discount. The pull through sites are big and plenty of trees throughout the campground. We opted for the shade without the satellite instead of the open sites that allow receipt of satellite signal. Our site had trees on both sides and a picnic table. The bathroom and laundry room are dated but clean. It costs $2 per wash and 50 cents for 15 minutes of drying. The gift shop has some unique shirts but the sizes are limited. We enjoyed our stay and will come back again if the opportunity presents itself. We camped at Indian Campground & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Pony Express Motel and RV Park, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This is a parking lot used for RV parking. We didn't feel comfortable leaving anything out and locked everything up whenever we leave the rig. They only have 50 AMP electric connection and a step-down connector is necessary as we only require 30 AMP. The wifi connection is very good. We consider the daily rate to be on the high side as there is no extra amenity except the standard but their rate is still the most favorable for this area. We camped at Pony Express Motel and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Billings Village RV Park, Billings, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Very friendly staff. All the sites are back-in with parking next to the rig. That worked well for us as the rig provided the shade for our relaxing afternoon outside. We couldn't get satellite because of the trees which we didn't mind as we enjoyed the shade. There are two laundry rooms and costs $1.25 per top load and $1.75 per front load to wash. Dryer costs 25 cents for about 6 minutes. Light sleepers might have problem with the train whistles late at night or early in the morning. Wifi connection was good during our 5-night stay. We really enjoyed this park and will definitely come back again. We camped at Billings Village RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The check-in process was the quickest of any RV park we've been to. It pays to make reservation at this park as all the pertinent information was printed on the registration when we check-in. A lot of construction going on very early in the morning. We were told we will lose power in 10 minutes and that got us moving very quickly. We will stay here again and look forward to checking out all the improvements they are making to the property. We camped at Double Dice RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Regency Inn and RV (EconoLodge), Ashland, Oregon

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is right off I-5. There are only 12 pull-through full hookup RV sites in the motel's parking lot. Sites are very close together. There is a bathroom but we couldn't get the door open. We did see a sign to the laundry room but didn't use it. Wifi was available and signal was strong. All utilities functioned well. We camped here overnight and will come back again.
