Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast, Elberta, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

Great family Park gravel roads and grass and gravel sites in the tall pines. Fire pit at each, park is almost empty. Office folks are just great and friendly. Bathhouse is spanking clean, laundry also. Lots of stuff for kids here including a pool and another water fixture plus playground.

We stayed here before and will stay again. Our rate is monthly. A few snowbirds. Fish in the pond. We camped at Jellystone Park of the Alabama Gulf Coast in a Fifth Wheel.

Bettum's Idlewood Family, Lewis Run, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

The owners of this campground would go out of their way to help with just about anything. The sites are tight and there are many seasonal folks. It is right next to a federal prison but we felt very safe here. Quiet at night. We could not get one of the sites with sewer, so the owner would come and empty our holding tanks when asked. We camped at Bettum's Idlewood Family in a Travel Trailer.

Whispering Winds Campground, Sheffield, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Amazing owners and quiet nights set right smack in the middle of the Allegheny National Forest. You can get to everything with a short drive. The owners will advise on great hikes or things to do. You can hike from the campground directly into the National Forest. There is a stream with trout in the center of the campground. Sleep by a babbling brook! LP gas available, fire rings, and picnic table at all sites. There is also a lodge to rent and rooms. We will return next spring. We camped at Whispering Winds Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Moose River Campground, St Johnsbury, Vermont

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Nice campground with many sites directly on the River. The owners were great and helpful. Great BBQ get togethers in the pavilion. The road noise is the only drawback, but bearable. We like to hike and you have to travel out by car to hike. We would camp here again. We camped at Moose River Campground in a Travel Trailer.
