This is a nice campground with much potential. Great location, easy access to NYC. Utilities are dated. Lots of long term campers, which is unusual for a county park. Very high water pressure; regulator required. Will definitely stay again, great rates. Friendly staff, regular police patrols, which was nice.

Nice park, very family friendly, lots of kids. Sites are grass, tight turns in some areas. Site says big rig friendly, my coach is 38', exercise caution. 5 miles off I-91 in the middle of a farming community, not much around in the way of shopping or groceries. We had no cell service on T-Mobile and Sprint. Internet is available but very expensive, charged per device. For us that would have cost $150 for 5 devices for two weeks since we needed our phones. My bad for not asking more questions when booking. Thankfully we recently purchased a Wi-Fi repeater and only had to pay for one device. Paid for itself on first outing, yahoo! Showers are coin operated, didn't check the toilets. Adds up over a two week stay. Visitors are charged $5, more to stay over. Surrounded by farms, a subtle wind can provide a manure smell at inopportune times when entertaining outdoors. Utilities were up to date, cable very limited, good water pressure. Did I mention lots of kids! If we have grandkids with us we may return, not without them. Drove our dogs crazy, we enjoy our peace and quiet.

What a great find! Beautiful spacious campground, with 1/4 mile of stream frontage. Grassy sites all have small trees planted which will provide shade in the future. There are lots of trees surrounding the property. The stream frontage is unbelievable with gorgeous trees and a newly constructed gazebo and playground. Also on property is a newly constructed pavilion. The bathhouse is also new and very nice, and clean. The owners are absolutely wonderful. I think they just opened this campground last year, and they have it looking beautiful. Cellphone service is great here with Verizon, T Mobile and AT&T. Wi-Fi is available, but we didn't need it.

Very clean and well maintained park. Level sites, many with shade and grass. River and creek run on 2 sides of property and we camped on the river for 2 months. There are restaurants and shopping all around. Have camped there several times, and we will go back again.
