Discounted rate for first time visit. Most impressive park. Well maintained extra large, grass pull-through sites with shade. Small, but nice amenities including pool, jacuzzi, rec room with pool, ping pong and full kitchen. Fabulously clean and large restrooms and laundry room. Nice grassy park with river access. Our park of choice for this area from now on.

Campground is on owner property. It was more run down than the last time we stayed here; needs grounds and facility maintenance. Proprietor was very nice. OK for a one night stopover. Used PA rate; not worth full rate. Laundry OK; on honor system.

Date of Stay:

OK park for visit to Carlsbad Caverns. Slightly south of town and about 18 miles north of the national park. Gravel double-wide somewhat shaded sites with table just long enough for our 34 foot RV. Ask if your rig is larger. Indoor pool open but we didn't use. Very friendly and informative check in and small gift shop. Free Wi-Fi. Used to be PA but dropped. Used GS discount. Bit pricey for quality but would stay again. Not much option in area. Good clean bathroom and showers with nice sized handicap shower area.

TTN now shares park with KOA. KOA sites are clean, gravel, with picnic tables. TTN sites pale in comparison. Large leased area and many empty rigs on premise. Limited FHU sites in camping area. Another example of where TTN has decided to place their emphasis - and it's not in the membership camping.

I was concerned based on other comments but we found this a very nice and clean campground convenient to our goal, the St. Louis Arch. We missed the 3rd St. exit and ended up crossing the bridge over the Mississippi and had to come back. It is very tricky and not marked well. Neighborhood and streets are very run down and scary. Broadway DOES connect to Riverpark even though my GPS said NO. Once we made it to the park, we were relieved. Spaces are blacktop separated by small patches of stones but wide enough for our slide and awning. All rigs were assigned close together even though the park was empty. We asked if we could just choose a site and they had no problem with that. We had a 34 foot motorhome and wanted the tree side but stuck out in front and back a little even though they are supposedly for Class A RVs (maybe 30 foot max). No room for tow except next site. Fortunately, the place was not crowded so we stayed and didn't pay the extra $10 for the long pull thrus on the other side without trees. Train runs slowly along back of the park and shook RV but stopped at night so we were thankful. Casino provides FREE shuttle to Metrolink which provides trip to St. Louis for 2.5 bucks one way. Would stay here again for another visit to St. Louis.

Large wooded quiet RPI park right behind IMAX so VERY close to Branson activities. Many sites are terraced and close, but we found a great private site (406) in section 4 with satellite access. Best showers in a long time (large & clean). Nice clubhouse, mini-golf and indoor pool still open. Would DEFINITELY recommend and stay here again. Saw deer & wild turkeys in park. Park charges $7 service charge above RPI rate. Worth it.

One of our ROD membership parks. Absolutely lovely peninsula surrounded by water on 3 sides. Weather perfect. Season over so no planned activities, but marvelous place to relax. Big grassy sites, scattered trees, cement pads. Could get satellite. Friendly staff. Limited full hook-up sites by road (not lake). Definitely would come here again this time of year.

Nice sized grassy, shaded sites overlooking Lake Michigan in a family-owned quiet park away from yet convenient to the tourist town. Great place for day trip to Mackinac Island.

Date of Stay:

Park not well maintained. Pool closed. Adult lodge locked and covered with cobwebs. Lots of "permanent trailers" which looked dumpy. Noise from near by freeway. Not impressed.

Date of Stay:

Mostly long-term sites. Reservations recommended. Only a few huge grassy and shaded FHU sites for transient campers; remainder are dry sites. Nice family park with swimming in the (cold) quarry and other planned activities. Access to paved trail along Lake Erie. Easy 30 minute drive to hustle and bustle of Niagara Falls where campgrounds are much more expensive.

Date of Stay:

Nice, nearly empty park convenient to Sault Ste Marie, ON. Sites were assigned and nearly all campers were bunched together back to back in the "no trees" area. Would be much more pleasant if campers could pick their own sites and spread out more. Pretty pricey for campground. Pool available, but weather was not good.

Date of Stay:

Very small, but pleasant PA campground for quick stopover. Diner and gift shop on site.

Nice Provincial Park at the beautiful Falls; worth the stop. Too expensive for no services. Would have preferred a private park.

Big grassy sites at the Marina and Casino on Lake Superior near Canadian border. No amenities, but good spot to visit Grand Portage National Monument, a great historic living museum. No Verizon cell or hot spot. WI-FI at casino VERY slow.

What we learned in this part of the country is that RV parks are basically non-existent. Most of the resorts are lodges, cabins, etc. but many of the resorts offer 2, 3, or 4 RV sites. If you are looking for a site, research resorts then see if they have camping spots. This resort is family owned and operated for the last 12 years with many cabins and lodges right on the lake and a fishing service. The 4 RV sites are all back-ins in the trees with lots of space in between. Water and electric ONLY. The grounds are clean. Fishing seems to be the main activity. "Beach" is rocky and water is cold but clean. People are friendly and helpful. Two individual modern and heated bathrooms with showers are available for the 4 RV sites. Used this as a home base to tour Voyaguer National Park. We would stay here again, although there are many other resorts which offer a similar set-up.
