This is our favorite campground. The owner spends many hours making the grounds look beautiful. It is dog friendly with a large dog park. It is along I-70 but far enough away that you don't hear the traffic. The owner is the nicest of any owner in campgrounds where we have stayed. We will continue to stay here as often as we can. I don't hesitate to recommend this campground to anyone.

We have stayed in Woody Acres for three months for two winters. The people in the park are very friendly and the park is dog friendly. We enjoyed the birds and the ponds in the park except for the large noisy (aggressive) geese that honked by our RV during the night. Parts of the park are run down, especially the older part with park models. If you are looking for a park with lots of activities, this isn't it. The area has a few things to do, but you really have to drive an hour to Corpus Christi for many things to do. We won't be going back.
