Sealing Cove Boat Harbor RV Parking, Sitka, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is basically a parking lot near the marina. It is very convenient but doesn't have any shade or atmosphere or amenities. Just a lot to park in and go explore Sitka, which is what we wanted. The restrooms are a bit of a walk to get to, but they are clean and adequate. We camped at Sealing Cove Boat Harbor RV Parking in a Fifth Wheel.

Quatse River Regional Park and Campground, Port Hardy, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is a really pretty campground with lots of trees and shade. The spaces had privacy and were not too close together. The restrooms were clean, and there is a small store on site. I would recommend this campground to anyone going to Port Hardy, as it's really nice. We camped at Quatse River Regional Park and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Prince Rupert RV Campground, Prince Rupert, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is nice and very convenient to the ferry. There is space between sites, grass, nice gravel interior roads and clean restrooms. It is not particularly scenic, but it served our purposes just fine, and I would recommend it. We camped at Prince Rupert RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Creekwood Inn and RV Park, Anchorage, Alaska

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The only good thing I can say about this park is it's in a convenient location. The spaces are tight, it's basically a big parking lot, and the restroom/shower facilities are abysmal. The first night one toilet was clogged, and when this fact and the general dirty condition of the restrooms were reported to the front desk, the person's response was that it was the maid's day off and she'd be in the next day. Well, the next morning another toilet was clogged and the place was still in sad shape, so we asked for a refund for that night and promptly received it. We then moved to the Golden Nugget, which was very nice with very clean restrooms. We camped at Creekwood Inn and RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
