Oxbow RV Resort, Penticton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

This is a nice park in a great location. The owner does a good job of guiding you into your spot, which is handy as the roads are a little tight. Our site had a nice concrete patio. The park and facilities are very clean. Pets are only allowed in the off season, so we were OK with our small dogs. The dog area is small and not fenced. There are lots of beautiful areas outside the park for walking. The city park and beach across the road is beautiful. Good basic cable is provided by getting a cable box from the owners. The WIFI was free, although I believe there is a fee in the summer. Luckily the WIFI was free, as it is virtually useless. The login process is cumbersome, and you will spend most of your time trying to connect. The WIFI would work poorly for a short period and then cut you off. More often than not, a connection could not be made. The rate is in Canadian funds and was the highest we paid during our ten day holiday. We would probably not stay here again. We camped at Oxbow RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Castlegar Cabins, RV Park & Campground, Castlegar, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very well kept park. The sites are average size, and are nicely landscaped. There is cable TV with about six channels. The WIFI is free and works fairly well. The dog run is one of the nicest I have seen. It is grassed, well fenced, and long enough for my small dogs to have a good play. The owners are very friendly and helpful. My only concern about this park is the $3.81 per day charge for my two dogs. This is over and above the daily rate stated, and seems a little high. The rates are in Canadian funds. We would stay here again. It is a nice spot close to Castlegar. We camped at Castlegar Cabins, RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Riviera RV Park and Campground, Grand Forks, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is situated on the Kettle River, and we had a site on the river. This was a great Motorhome site, as we drove in with windshield facing the water. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. This is a nice campground, but overall it looks tired. A few gallons of paint would make a world of difference. The owners need to walk around and pick up trash, branches, etc. Cutting down brush between the sites and water would make them more attractive. This is a nice site, but it could easily be much better. Nightly rate is in Canadian Dollars. We camped at Riviera RV Park and Campground in a Motorhome.

Princeton RV Park, Princeton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This park is in a beautiful location on the Similkameen River. The park is clean and the Park Hosts are very friendly and helpful. The sites are a good size and easy to access for my 30' Motorhome. I have stayed here previously while Motorcycle Tent camping, and enjoy it very much. There is free WIFI that works OK.It is better closer to the office. We camped at Princeton RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a great park for an overnight stay or a base for a visit to the area. The staff are very friendly and the office/store/lounge is very nice. The park is very clean and the sites are large. There is a Safeway and Family Dollar next door. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: February, 2015 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This is a beautiful park in a very convenient location. The park is immaculate, and the sites are a good size. The clubhouse is very nice. There is a nice area for pets. This is a great spot as a basecamp for a visit to Sparks/Reno. We would definitely stay here again. Our rate was a winter rate and is fantastic value. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

This is a good park for an overnIght stay. The sites are a good size, and access is easy. The nightly rate is high, but there is not much choice in this area. The WIFI and Cable TV are good. We would stay here again as a one night stop. We camped at Pear Tree RV Resort in a Motorhome.

99 RV Park, Vancouver, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for one night on our way home. It is not an RV resort by any means, but it is clean and handy to local shopping. The sites are a good size, and it looks like there are recent site improvements being done. There are some sites with grass areas, but most are gravel. The listing for this park says there is a clubhouse, but we didn't check it out. The free WIFI was good. For the area, this park has reasonable rates. We were lucky to be on the last day of the Passport America rate. This would be a good place to stay for a few day visit to the area. It is handy to shopping and close to the I5 (road noise was not an issue). We would stay here again. We camped at 99 RV Park in a Motorhome.

Sparks Marina RV Park, Sparks, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at another RV park several times in the past, but gave this one a try after seeing a billboard ad. This is a beautiful park with good size sites. The park is spotless, and the artificial turf at each site is a great idea. The facilities include a meeting area, exercise machines, putting green, and pool (the pool was not open yet). The cable TV had lots of channels, but the free WIFI was not much use. There are three dog run areas that are clean and attractive. The nightly rate is off season (it goes up 1 May). We will definitely come back. We camped at Sparks Marina RV Park in a Motorhome.

Rolle's Lynda Vista RV Park (55+ park), Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here for a week at the Passport America rate. As others have said, this is one of the few parks in Yuma with grassed sites. The staff is friendly and there seems to be lots of people who winter here and enjoy it very much. We were here late in the season, and maybe that is why the park had kind of a tired look. It is surrounded by old RV parks, and is not in a pretty area of town. The free WIFI was pretty slow, but you could upgrade for a very reasonable fee. At the Passport America rate, it was OK. I would not stay here again. We camped at Rolle's Lynda Vista RV Park (55+ park) in a Motorhome.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: April, 2014 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park three times on the way down and back to Arizona. The park is very clean, and the pull through sites are quite large with concrete pads. The staff is friendly and the office and store are very inviting. The park is next door to a Safeway and Family Dollar which is handy. The cable TV and WiFi are very good and free. We have only stayed here overnight, but it would be a nice park for a longer stay. A very nice spot! We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Motorhome.

Trailer Inns RV Parks, Yakima, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is OK for a one night stop, but I wouldn't want to stay there longer. The sites are good size, but the whole outside area has kind of a run down look. This may be partially due to the time of year. There are lots of trees, and it may be much nicer in the summer. There are a lot of older RV's that look like they have been there a long time. I will say, however, that the sites are kept clutter free (ie. not a lot of stuff piled around and under the RV's.) There doesn't seem to be much shopping in the surrounding area. The staff are very friendly. We would probably not stay here again. We camped at Trailer Inns RV Parks in a Motorhome.

Lake Pleasant RV Park, Bothell, Washington

Date of Stay: April, 2012 - $44.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed at this park several times. It is a beautiful location, and the sites are good size and nicely separated. The lake-front sites are very nice. The staff are very friendly. The cable TV has limited channels, but is clear. This park is in a good location for touring and shopping. Like a lot of bigger cities, there are not too many choices for RV parks. This is, by far, the nicest in the area. It is pricey, but again, there are not many options. We camped at Lake Pleasant RV Park in a Motorhome.
