Clinton Lake State Recreation Area, Dewitt, Illinois

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

I used to camp here with my family when I was younger and had a blast. Now its 20 years later and I took my family there last weekend and had a blast. Sites were not packed together but were slightly uneven. The bathhouse was clean. The park was well kept. We will be stopping here many times. We camped at Clinton Lake State Recreation Area in a Travel Trailer.

Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PARK. Staff and seasonal campers are racist. We actually witnessed this at the main pool and were offended. However the seasonal campers were providing alcohol to an underage girl. Underage drinking OK. Camp site was OK not level and poorly placed trees. Arrived late and there was no light so had help from other campers with lanterns. Golf carts run on gravel roads all the time and kick up dust constantly. STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE. We camped at Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park in a Tent Trailer.

Graceland RV Park & Campground, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Campground is nice for the area but its not a nice area. The right price for a overnight stay and you can stay later for a small fee. Memphis is a rough looking city and not very clean. Great BBQ though uptown. We did not go on the tour due to problems with our truck. We camped at Graceland RV Park & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park, Macon, Georgia

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This is one nice campground with a great staff and helpful seasonal campers. We were only supposed to do a one night stay but had problems on our journey so ended up staying two. The pull through sites are on nice concrete level pads easy in easy out. Full hook ups included in price well maintained facilities. Nice lake to swim in and have fun with the kids. Had some problems on our way to Disney and had to stay an extra day thankfully. We had a much better trip after we slowed down a little. If you do stay here then you must stop at the Fish and Pig Restaurant down the street. No matter how busy it is it is worth the wait. We will stop here again next trip for sure. We camped at Lake Tobesofkee Claystone Park in a Motorhome.

Kentucky Lakes / Prizer Point KOA, Cadiz, Kentucky

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful campground on the lake. This was just a stop for us but could be a destination later. We stayed only a few hours because we were on our way to Disney and just took a nap here. We actually weren't going to stay because we had a late start to our trip and would not check in till very late. The staff called us and we stated that we would be too late but, they said that would be ok. They gave us a easy pull through that we had no problem setting up quickly and quietly. However when we got up the next morning we were shocked at how nice of a park it was. We did not want to leave but we had to get to Disney. We would stay again, and will next trip south, but will enjoy for more than 6 hours. We camped at Kentucky Lakes / Prizer Point KOA in a Travel Trailer.
