Seasons in the Sun RV Resort, Mims, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $33.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful clean park: one of our favorites! We have stayed here for months at a time. They have daily, weekly, monthly and annual rates (winter rates are higher: $42-$45 night). Big rig friendly w/paved roads. Big roomy sites with picnic tables, many are concrete. Non-concrete sites are very nice too, most of these have shade. Cable TV included in rates. Really good water pressure and NO smell, NO strange taste (city water). Big clubhouse w/full kitchen for dances, dinners, etc. Two big, clean pools and a hot tub! Tennis courts, shuffle board courts, horse shoe pits, stocked ponds, nature trails and citrus fruit trees. Bath houses are clean and roomy (huge full individual bath rooms!) and 2 laundry rooms. Pet friendly (leash and clean up required). Close to Canaveral Seashore, Kennedy Space Center and several golf courses. Do-able drive to Daytona Beach and Orlando attractions. Convenient location: off I-95 at exit 223. We camped at Seasons in the Sun RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Salt Lick Creek COE, Gainesboro, Tennessee

Date of Stay: July, 2011 - $13.00
Overall Rating:

One of the very nicest Army Corp parks you'll ever see. Huge sites. Clean! Not all sites have sewer. We stayed at a discounted rate (Golden Access). A bit noisy on holidays (lake activity and kids); otherwise very peaceful, serene setting. Friendly and safe! Paved roads with gravel sites. We stay here whenever in TN. We camped at Salt Lick Creek COE in a Motorhome.
