This was our first time camping in this area and we picked a winner. Great place for families and has allot of shade trees and having the river within walking distance made the 100-plus July temps bearable. The site are big, level and have gravel pads to park on. Some had cement slabs which was nice. When we arrived they were asking campers to conserve electricity due to the heat and older power grid. We didn't use the Wi-Fi (because we are camping), but our friends required it and needed to go to the main office to use it, just a minor inconvenience. The word is they are working on upgrading the Wi-Fi. We would come back here for sure, but in the Spring or fall as the temp was over 100.

This is a great Regional park that has allot to do. Plenty of easy hiking and biking trails for the whole family and there is also fishing. The sites are sizable and ours was paved and level. You feel isolated from the city elements until fire station across the highway lights them up, which they seem polite enough to only sound there sirens during the day. The camp is nicely laid out and it's not crowded. We would definitely camp here again.
