Gunnison Lakeside RV Park & Cabins, Gunnison, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed here several times the last few years. The park has great views, but the biggest plus of the park is the friendly, helpful staff. Everyone is super friendly, and will point out great things to do in the area. Very quiet, mostly fishermen staying there due to its proximity to the Blue Mesa Reservoir. They are about 12 miles out of town, so it's a little jaunt into town. Very little cell service, they do have weak wifi (on par with most RV parks), and offer a few television stations via cable from an amplified signal captured from TV repeaters sitting on top of Monarch Pass. I'm very satisfied with the park, and will return next summer. We camped at Gunnison Lakeside RV Park & Cabins in a Fifth Wheel.

Clearwater / Tarpon Springs KOA (No longer a KOA), Palm Harbor, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

**** Park is Closed ******

Nice park, lots of snow birds in the winter. People treat you like family. Unfortunately they lost their lease in July 2016, and the park is closed for good. We camped at Clearwater / Tarpon Springs KOA (No longer a KOA) in a Fifth Wheel.
