Emerald Beach RV Park, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2015 - $70.00
Overall Rating:

Easy access from the west on busy Hwy 98, have to make a u-turn somewhere if coming from the east. The reverse is true if you are coming from the east or exiting to go west. Wide paved roads, but sites are narrow and somewhat difficult to get into if you have a long RV. Sites 65-71 at the waterfront are perfect, and plenty of room to park your RV. We camped at Emerald Beach RV Park in a Motorhome.

Santa Rosa RV Resort, Navarre, Florida

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $85.00
Overall Rating:

This a fairly new park, very nice , clean, and well kept. Access is easy from the east, and west. Exiting going west is a little tricky, as Hwy 98 is a busy four lane road. We were in a waterfront site that backs up to the water, so without getting out and sitting on a small patio area, our view is only of RVs across the drive. There are only a few pull in sites on the east end of the park that a motorhome would have a view of the water. We would stay here again with some planning for the better sites. They are clearly shown on their site map on their website. We were there for a few day on 4th of July. I don't remember the exact price, but remember it was a little pricey even f or a holiday. We camped at Santa Rosa RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Heritage Acres RV Park, Tuscumbia, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice park. Easy in and out. The park owner is on site and very friendly and helpful. Don't hesitate to use this park for any size RV, or 5th wheel. There are some pull throughs, but all sites have plenty of room. Good food at great prices at a restaurant on US72 about 1/4 mile away. Walking distance to Al Music Hall of Fame. Only 10 or 15 minutes to birthplace of Helen Keller(don't miss this). Only drawback to an otherwise fantastic park is all sites and drives are crushed rock. It is well packed, but a little difficult to walk on. WI-FI is great and it also has cable TV at each site. We camped at Heritage Acres RV Park in a Motorhome.

Jay Landings RV Park, Decatur, Alabama

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We actually ending up "NOT STAYING" at the park. We had called and made reservations. We were coming from the west on alt US 72. The first problem encountered was that we had to go past the park and make a difficult "U" turn. As soon as we turned into the drive to the RV park, we encountered problem #2. We could see the RV park about 150 yards down a narrow asphalt drive. In the 15 years we have been RVers, I have never seen a road with as many pot holes. You could not drive over 1MPH and still had to try to miss them. Mission impossible. When we got to the park, all sites were small and close together. This is a Fish Camp with some RV spaces. The camp host was friendly enough, but this was not what we expected, and decided to leave. The trip in, and out took almost 30 minutes including a few minutes of conversation with the host. We camped at Jay Landings RV Park in a Motorhome.

Mimosa Landing Campground, Columbia, Mississippi

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The owner was very friendly and accommodating. There is no cable TV and very few spots where a satellite would get a signal. She placed us in a spot where we could get a signal and also near the building where the Wi-Fi router was located. The Wi-Fi signal was weak and kept dropping off. This is truly a campground, not an RV park. There were a few pull-throughs, which are short, and you would still have to unhook. Roads are very narrow, with small branches hanging down. I said all of this as information, not complaining. It is a nice little campground for a family outing. We camped at Mimosa Landing Campground in a Motorhome.

Payne's RV Park, Theodore, Alabama

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This park is very easy in, and easy out. Clean and well maintained. Wide and long gravel pull through sites available. Owner/staff is friendly and helpful. Cable TV is being installed, and should be available within 7 days. Wi-Fi is available, a little weak, but usable. All hooks are conveniently located. Sewer connection is at ground level (yeah). We would stay here again. Several discount programs honored. We camped at Payne's RV Park in a Motorhome.

The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC, Montgomery, Alabama

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly staff. The park is lay-out of the park is excellent, with all pull through sites. The sites are a little narrow, with some having large pieces of concrete (used to be part of a road, stripes still on them) laying on the ground, with about 8-10" above ground. We have a bus with a front door, and they were not positioned so that we could use them as a patio, and have their hook-ups positioned close to the location on the coach. The drain is also about 10"-12" above ground level. OK, the negatives are out of the way. Excellent cable TV, and strong Wi-Fi. We camped at The Woods RV Park and Campground LLC in a Motorhome.

United Campground of Durango, Durango, Colorado

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We called and made reservations several days before. We asked if they had a pull through which would accommodate a 40' rig, and tow car. The answer "YES". The reality "NO". We had to unhook to even be able to park. RVs were packed like sardines, with narrow drive ways. We also asked if WiFi was available at the site. The answer "YES". The reality "NO". The signal was low and speed was terrible. We had planned to stay two nights, but left after one. Would not recommend this park and would not go there again. We camped at United Campground of Durango in a Motorhome.
