Railside RV Ranch, Williams, Arizona

Date of Stay: March, 2017 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Price too high for this type of park $3:0 would be more in line with what is available here. All gravel park, easy to get around in and sites are pretty level. Was barely enough space to park tow vehicle and trailer in site. Did not pace off site, but was much shorter than the 65 feet I was told. Had hot tub but did not use. Hookups were in middle of site. Park was quiet except for the Grand Canyon trains at 9:30 AM and 5:30 PM. and they messed around with the trains until about 8PM. Trains go right by the park so you can see them well. We camped at Railside RV Ranch in a Travel Trailer.

Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel, Kingman, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Great place to stay for a nite or a few days. Could not hook up to their Wi-Fi. Don't know why as the signal was strong. Only 10 cable TV channels. A few were fuzzy. Close to eats and fuel. Sites are long and wide. Hookups easy. Low water pressure(30 psi). We camped at Blake Ranch RV Park & Horse Motel in a Travel Trailer.

Whiskey Flats RV Park, Hawthorne, Nevada

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This was a new park about 15 years ago. Have stayed here many times over the years. Could be an 8 or 9 if the owner would do a little more work. Cable TV was spotty, lots of "rain scram" at my site. Park host had no cable at all. Seem to be catering to "squatters" too much now. Very few spaces left over for travelers. The people in space 54 were downright inconsiderate of other visitors, like they were right out of the movie Deliverance. Way too many ATV/UTV running around this park. Noisy and polluting. Most permanent residents do not adhere to RV etiquette. Rate is good here and park is convienient to town and shopping/eats. Spaces are long and level. We camped at Whiskey Flats RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Susanville RV Park, Susanville, California

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here for two weeks while tow vehicle getting repaired. Park very nice, clean and quiet. Can view wildlife in the evening along park perimeter. Wi-Fi a bit slow but works well. Good cable TV at our site. About 20 channels available over the roof antennae from Reno which has many channels that the cable does not offer. Laundry room nice. 6 top load washers and 6 gas dryers. Washers only fill HALF FULL on the rinse cycle so watch your load size. Close to all kinds of eats and Walmart and Safeway. A lot of places to visit in the surrounding area. Have stayed here almost every year since 2005 and will do so again. We camped at Susanville RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Holiday RV Park, Phoenix, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Way too many permanent residents, probably 80% of the spaces. They all have too many vehicles which makes navigation in the park trecherous. It's bad enough when there are no extra vehicles to dodge. This park should be about $28.00 a night. I can see no justification for a charge of over $40 a night. Spaces are tight and roads are narrow and multi-directional as well. Have stayed here several times over the years and each year this park has declined in some way. Maintenance is also lacking. The 30Amp receptacle in the power stanchion at our site was totally burned out. Had to buy 50 to 30 adaptor to use this site. This will be our last visit here. We camped at Holiday RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Port of Newport RV Park, Newport, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Add the city tax to your bill and it comes to $39.00 per nite. A little high for this park as there are no amenities to speak of. Laundry room is great. 7 washers and 7 dryers (2 out of order). They could do a better job of policing the area. Lots of small pieces of paper and wrappers in the foliage at most every site. Water pressure is grand. 60 psi no problem. Pretty quiet park considering the number of fishermen and dogs here. Stayed 3 days. Beautiful location close to aquarium and old town. Would probably stay here again considering the other RV parks at the coast. We camped at Port of Newport RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Rice Hill RV Park, Oakland, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $31.00
Overall Rating:

Would have rated this higher if they had a pool and/or spa. Excellent park for overnight or a few days. Close to food and fuel. Pull thru sites are 75 ft long and 40 ft wide. Level side to side but slant a little down hill. Sewer hookup a long way from other site utilities. Close to freeway but no noise witnessed. Wi-fi good and works fairly fast. 45 miles south of Eugene and 118 miles north of Medford. Have stayed here several times over the last few years. Will do so again when in the area. We camped at Rice Hill RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pegg's Adult RV Park (55+ park), Long Beach, Washington

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

Not the Taj mahal but good enough for a few days or a week at the beach. If you pay for 6 days, 7th day is free so it makes it relatively cheap to stay here. Park is well kept and clean, although aged. Owners are friendly and helpful. Have stayed here several times and will do so again when in the area. All sites are back in. We camped at Pegg's Adult RV Park (55+ park) in a Travel Trailer.

Brookhollow RV Park, Kelso, Washington

Very nice park about a mile east of I-5. Two laundry rooms with 6 washers and dryers each. Concrete pads with parking at site. Plenty of overflow parking. Very large pet area. Some train noise even though the train is 3 miles away. They have an ice machine here! Staying here for 3 months. Monthly rate is $525 + electric. Plenty of eating places andf shopping close by. Well maintained park. We camped at Brookhollow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Driftwood RV Park & Resort, Boardman, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

This used to be a nice park. As with so many parks, 90% of spaces have been converted to permanent/long term residents and the rules go out the window when this happens. Park is full of derelict rigs and way older than 10 years. The only shiny spot is the indoor pool and spa which closes at 7:30 PM. Management seems to have a so what attitude, and as long as the income maintains, they are happy. This was our last stay at this park. We camped at Driftwood RV Park & Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Vale Trails RV Park , Vale, Oregon

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Very nice smaller park. A bit of a stroll from the freeway(15 miles) but probably worth the trip if you want peace and quiet. First park in 6 days that we did not have to level the trailer due to spaces being level. Long enough also that we did not have to unhook our 35ft trailer from our Excursion. Two fuel stations in town with diesel. Nice walking town with lots to see and enjoy. Wi-fi very good and cable TV with 13 stations. Would have made arrangements to stay here longer if we had known park was this pleasant. Will stay here again if in the area. Follow road signs to get here. GPS will lead you astray. We camped at Vale Trails RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Hagerman RV Village, Hagerman, Idaho

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

This park is a gem! Nice long pull thrus. I have a 35ft trailer pulled by Ford Excursion. Did not have to unhook and still had 10 more feet of space left. Very well kept park. All the rigs look well kept. Park is quiet but seems to be in close proximity to a gun range as can hear lots of firing close by. Wi-fi works well from my space #34. Park is about 10 miles south of I-84 so highway noise is nill except for local traffic on US30. Will stay here again if in the area. We camped at Hagerman RV Village in a Travel Trailer.

Brigham City / Perry South KOA, Brigham City, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

This KOA needs some cleanup. Beginning to look like a dump. Staff friendly and helpful as I needed some new tires while there. 5 to 6 horses on the property and their pen condition was frightful. Could smell horse pucky from our rig. Laundry was OK. 4 washers (1 broke) and 6 dryers. Fairly nice game room and park store. Will probably stay elsewhere next trip. Big Mountain Campground, Nephi, Utah

Date of Stay: May, 2016 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

If you hate TV commercials and cell phones ringing, you'll love this place. No TV, unless you have satellite and no cell service. Wi-Fi id great though. Beautiful setting up in the mountains east of Nephi. Lots of grass and open space. Pull through sites are a little narrow(where your rig sits) but long enough for trailer and truck to park. Nice pool(in season)and laundry room. Very clean park. We camped at Big Mountain Campground in a Travel Trailer.
