East Fork COE, Wylie, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park was a great place to stay. Very open sites with lots of room to stretch your legs, walk the dog, or let the kids play. The ground is very dry right now and there are large cracks in the soil that you have to watch out for (mother nature is the only one to blame for this). The staff was very friendly and the location is great for using the lake. Playground was very new and nice and shady. Wylie has some great little restaurants and is about 5 minutes away. There are no actual camper sites on the water, only water views. We camped at East Fork COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Easterlin Park Campground, Oakland Park, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for 4 days and it worked out great for us while we visited family that lives near-by. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Park is very clean and well maintained. The train was not a big bother to us and when it goes by, it is only 3-4 cars long. We stayed in site A-1. We camped at Easterlin Park Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Lots of water front sites and very well maintained area. They are working on upgrading the bath houses and are almost finished with all of them. Highly recommend. We camped at Daisy State Park in a Fifth Wheel.
