Arrow Rock State Historic Site, Arrow Rock, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great state park and is sooo quiet and peaceful. The town of Arrow Rock has a lot of historical significance and the entire town is a historical landmark. The campground is maintained extremely well and has newer shower house and restrooms. They have a great tent area, lots of grass. Some of the campsites are a little "off level" but none are such that make it uncomfortable. About 12 miles north of I-70. The park has an onsite work camper that is very helpful. We camped at Arrow Rock State Historic Site in a Travel Trailer.

Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park, Memphis, Tennessee

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Very convenient campground and is directly across from Graceland. The campsites were level and green grass between the sites. They have 24/7 security and felt very safe during our visit. The staff was extremely helpful and answered all of our travel related questions. Would stay here again in a heart beat! We camped at Elvis Presley Blvd RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Des Moines West KOA, Adel, Iowa

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

This is a great campground and is still close to the highway (1.5 miles) but unlike a lot of KOA's, there is no traffic noise! It's in a rural setting and the restrooms were extremely clean. The new owners are putting a lot of money into the park and are very friendly and helpful. We will be camping here during the John Wayne/Bridges of Madison County festival and looking forward to another great visit. We camped at Des Moines West KOA in a Travel Trailer.
