OK RV Park, Holbrook, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This is a big, quiet park with extra long sites and a friendly staff. It wasn't very busy during our stay so seemed particularly spacious, but it might be tighter when crowded. We camped at OK RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Moore's RV Park (formerly Desert Rose Resort), Bloomfield, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

This park is located in a remote part of a drab little town with few amenities. While the restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly, the park itself was all gravel, dusty and had many permanent residents. We chose it because of its relative proximity to Chaco Canyon, but would not stay there again. We camped at Moore's RV Park (formerly Desert Rose Resort) in a Travel Trailer.

Moab Valley RV Resort , Moab, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

The sites were tight here and the road noise was so loud at times it was laughable. The bathrooms were fine. It was certainly adequate, but nothing special. When visiting Moab again, we will check out one of the other parks. We camped at Moab Valley RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Wonderland RV Park, Torrey, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We had a spacious, level site with a nice grassy area. The bathrooms were excellent: clean and roomy. This park is located on an intersection so there can be some road noise. Overall, however, we would stay here again if passing through. We camped at Wonderland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground, Bryce Canyon, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The sites in this park are very spacious with adjacent grassy areas and scattered trees. The bathrooms were a bit far for us but were spotless and large. Cable TV would have been nice because evenings are cold here in October. This park is pricier than most but there are free bus tours and shuttles and the proximity to Bryce can't be beat. We camped at Ruby's Inn RV Park and Campground in a Travel Trailer.

Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park), Cedar City, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $36.00

This park is unremarkable but perfectly adequate for a night while passing through the area. Sites are reasonably sized, staff is helpful and it is close to Cedar City amenities. We camped at Cedar Breaks RV (formerly Country Aire RV Park) in a Travel Trailer.

We had a nice site with grass beside and behind it. Nothing special here, but the bathrooms were roomy and clean, and the owner was a delight! We would stay here again if passing through the area. We camped at Valley View RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Winnemucca RV Park, Winnemucca, Nevada

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are shuttles available to a few casinos and the swimming pool looks nice. However, the park itself is gravel with a very small ring of grass around the outside. The sites are average size but feel hot, dusty and offer very little shade. The bathrooms are relatively clean but very basic and dated. For an overnight stopover, this is adequate but I wouldn't want to stay longer than that. We camped at Winnemucca RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Junipers Reservoir RV Resort, Lakeview, Oregon

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

This park was wonderful and we would consider traveling via Lakeview again just to stay there! The spacious sites are all pull through and surround a center grassy area with barbecues and an open air gathering building. The grounds are beautiful, the surrounding area is great for hiking, there is a free fishing lake within walking distance, the bathrooms and showers are roomy and spotless and the views are tremendous. We couldn't get a TV signal but the quiet was great and we really didn't miss it. We camped at Junipers Reservoir RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
