Honey Lake RV Park, Milford, California

Date of Stay: October, 2018 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

This park is sandy. My site had a slope and deep sand making it hard to get levelers under wheels so they were not in the air after putting down my jacks. Everything looks rundown and in need of paint and repair. Laundry was a bit of a dump but the washers and driers worked, only $1.50 which is cheap compared to most places. Good for an overnight. Nice view of the lake. Self registered, never saw the office open but didn’t need anything. We camped at Honey Lake RV Park in a Motorhome.

Riverview RV Park, Fairbanks, Alaska

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $41.00
Overall Rating:

This campground was entirely satisfactory to me. Spaces were a little close. The neighbors plumbing and electrical were right by my door. Thankfully the sewer was near the back of the site. The shower I used smelled like pee! They are remodeling some of the showers so I take that as a good thing. I did not find the roads narrow and the turns tight as another reviewer suggested. The laundry was clean and the machines worked well. I paid the weekly rate which was less than Good Sam daily discount. We camped at Riverview RV Park in a Motorhome.

Hot Springs Campground & Hostel, Whitehorse, Yukon

Date of Stay: June, 2018 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

First and Foremost, Verify location! My camping app gave incorrect GPS coordinates and sent me down Takhini road which is a dirt road to the left before reaching the Hot Springs. Stay on the paved road until you reach the Hot Springs and the campground in on a dirt road to the right just before the hot springs. The following reviews are correct on many points that are a problem for me. the dump is off site at the Hot Springs, I think you have to go there for water as well. Mostly level - not exactly, I had to block the tires and jacks to get level on site 11. Shower is a dollar a minute. NO RV WASHING allowed! I am caked in mud from the wrong turn. I had to beg for water to wash my windshield on the toad. 35 dollars Canadian is too much for what is provided even with a favorable exchange rate. The 27 dollars reported above represents the equivalent US dollar rate. We camped at Hot Springs Campground & Hostel in a Motorhome.

Lake Aire RV Park & Campground, Hollywood, South Carolina

Date of Stay: February, 2016 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Granted we had tons of rain a week ago but be warned: if it rains, it will be muddy. Overnighters are parked in a low flat, poorly drained area. Longer term residents seem to be parked on higher ground that is better drained and less prone to mud. The owners are actively adding gravel and trying to improve the sites, but I could not exit my motorhome and walk to my car or access any of the side storage compartments without walking in mud. 50 amp did not work when I parked but was fixed a day later after I brought it to their attention. 30 amp worked. We camped at Lake Aire RV Park & Campground in a Motorhome.

Moonlight Lake RV Resort, New Bern, North Carolina

Date of Stay: May, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Lots of old campers and permanent residents. The staff couldn't be more pleasant and friendly and accommodating. It's basically a gravel and sand mix to park on and a small patch of grass between campers with picnic tables. Hookups are old and in need of updating. The lake is a very small hole in the ground for carp fishing. We camped at Moonlight Lake RV Resort in a Motorhome.
