The new owners are a family unit with their extended family in tow. They made us feel like we were family. The day we arrived, their little girl was having her birthday party outside and we were invited and really enjoyed the family atmosphere. The owners are undertaking several clean up, fix up, renovation projects to make the place more aesthetically pleasing and functional, they only bought it a short time ago. You drive through an area where the motel sits in front and register. Don't be put off, the camping area is behind the motel and is a nice spot. We stayed here for 5 days and will be back when our plans bring us this way again. We recommend this park. We camped at Historic Route 66 RV Park (formerly Kiva RV Park) in a Motorhome.
