American Heritage RV Park, Williamsburg, Virginia

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $49.00
Overall Rating:

Recently paved roads, all sites have concrete pads and patios, some with patio furniture and grills, and all well landscaped. Restrooms clean. Wi-fi would go on and off without reason but strong when available. Biggest negative for me was lack of parking for my toad; site just wasn't big enough for both. Additional parking was available at end of the road. Overall a nice campground. We stayed here in a motorhome. We camped at American Heritage RV Park in a Motorhome.

Watchman Campground (NPS Campground), Zion National Park, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

We were in site B09 in a motorhome. New restroom facilities were being constructed across the road from our site. With the traffic raising dust in the construction area, contractors radio blaring all day, saws, hammers, etc. it was not a quiet area. Only restroom available was in A loop since both in B loop were under construction. Campground full for all six days here so we couldn't change sites. While the scenery was beautiful, this was one of the worst National Parks campgrounds we have visited. But you get what you pay for, I suppose ($9). We camped at Watchman Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Wahweap RV and Campground, Page, Arizona

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

Nice, long campsites, paved with fire pit and table. Wi-Fi worked very well, but slow at times. Great view of Lake Powell and just very short walk to beach. Well stocked store, too. Shuttle to town if you need to fill the pantry! We would certainly come back. The 9 rating only reflects no cable or over the air TV available. We camped at Wahweap RV and Campground in a Motorhome.

Yuba State Park - Oasis Campground, Levan, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

What a gem! Spacious sites with the greenest grass at each site. Cleanest campground, state park or private, we've seen. They even pressure wash the sites after visitors leave! Clean, private restrooms and showers. Utilities sometime on the wrong side but that is a minor inconvenience. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Yuba State Park - Oasis Campground in a Motorhome.

Mill Creek Campground & RV Park, Paxico, Kansas

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

Just an overnight stop but a really nice campground. Full hookups but no cable. TV reception with antenna has four channels. Long pull through sites. Lots of shade in our area of the park. If you love trains this is the place for you. Many trains during the day that blow the horn for crossing at campground entrance. During the night, though, not too many passed. I'd stay here again. We camped at Mill Creek Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Denver Meadows RV Park, Aurora, Colorado

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here one night because of a mechanical problem that forced us to stay in Denver for repairs. This is an older park (more like a parking lot) and looks much like a mobile home park. No cable TV and the local reception was OK. The park is looking really run down and not very well maintained. The area around the park is kind of creepy but not necessarily unsafe. It served its purpose as a port in the storm. I would not recommend this park nor will I return. We camped at Denver Meadows RV Park in a Motorhome.

Endless Caverns Resort, New Market, Virginia

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $29.00
Overall Rating:

Clean, level campsites strategically located on several hillside locations. Sites were large and gravelled. Clean restrooms with the largest showers I've seen in a campground. Will probably return next summer. We camped at Endless Caverns Resort in a Motorhome.
