49er RV Ranch, Columbia, California

Date of Stay: March, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

I have been RVing full time since August, 2011 and this has been one of my favorite stays. I stayed here three months and and found the place to be great for long term and short term RVers. The installed FIOS super fast internet, a must for full timers. The property has a lot of character with a rustic feel. They host camp fires with period entertainment. Full hook ups with strong 50 amp service. I found the staff to be very helpful in solving my issues. The location is walking distance to the historic gold rush town of Columbia and is an easy drive to Yosemite National Park. I will definitely be a repeat guest. Rate was based on monthly stay plus electricity. We camped at 49er RV Ranch in a Motorhome.

Salt Lake City KOA, Salt Lake City, Utah

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $39.00
Overall Rating:

Clean and very convenient location to downtown Salt Lake. I was visiting the Family Research Center, and the LDS Church provided shuttle service free of charge. This is located in the city, without a security fence. I didn't have any problems but would have felt more secure with a fence. We camped at Salt Lake City KOA in a Motorhome.

Hi Valley RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

The park is well set up and easy to use; however, my plans changed and I had paid for two nights but needed to leave only staying one night. The manager refused to refund the second night. October is hardly a high in demand month and there were plenty of empty spaces here on the weekday. They said they would credit me, but I will not be passing through here for the foreseeable future. My recommendation is only pay them one night at a time. This one night cost me $64.15 because of no refund. Not a good practice if they wish to have my or my friend's business. We camped at Hi Valley RV Park in a Motorhome.
