The hosts were very nice people. I little noise from I70 but would one expect that. They made me a great mocha the morning we left. The town of Strasburg, is small, but they have a great Mexican restaurant. We would stay there again. We camped at Denver East / Strasburg KOA in a Motorhome.

We have been here twice. The water was horrible. Brown in color and never changed. It's been that way for a number of years. We just go there cause it is close to a sister. We camped at Tuttle Creek State Park / River Pond Campground in a Motorhome.

Mountain Meadow RV Park, Hungry Horse, Montana

Date of Stay: August, 2007 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

What a great park!!! The owner appeared a little sour at first, probably because of all the wildfires and smoke, but was very willing to allow us to choose a more secluded site. They have done a very good job of laying out their park. Extremely relaxing, peaceful. Would stay there again. We camped at Mountain Meadow RV Park in a Motorhome.

Chalk Creek Campground & RV Park, Nathrop, Colorado

Date of Stay: July, 2006 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

I wish I would of read the other entry about this campground. We took their "premium" site but it wasn't. They wanted to put us so we would be looking at a cabin. The sewer attachment would not fit the other way and they told us just to unhook and use the dump station when we were full. They call that full hookup. I don't. Sitting outside, we looked at the utilities and a chopped up tree. Yes, they do drive around looking at you. After of couple of days being there, we were driving in on our motorcyle and told we needed a tag on it. The tent campers could buy wood from them but it was green and they had to pay for the showers. We would not go back. We camped at Chalk Creek Campground & RV Park in a Motorhome.

Cooper's Landing Campgrounds, Columbia, Missouri

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is strictly for adults. Campground is located between the Missouri river and the historic Katy Trail. The drive there was very pleasant. A remote feeling. You drive up to the back of the building, so it does not look like much. The front faces the Missouri river with rustic seating. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, they have live entertainment. The owner is very friendly and helpful. It was very relaxing and we will be going back. We camped at Cooper's Landing Campgrounds in a Motorhome.

Gravois Creek Campground, Versailles, Missouri

Date of Stay: May, 2006 - $26.00
Overall Rating:

The campground had only one good site. All the others faced the highway. If you sat outside, it was like you were watching indy 500 and the sound was continuous. We were unable to walk to the stream because the weeds were knee high. We camped at Gravois Creek Campground in a Motorhome.
