Whispering Hills RV Park, Georgetown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $36.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed here two years ago. Well maintained campground with gravel sites. We had a pull thru site, the utilities all worked without any problems. Be aware that they have high water pressure. The bathroom facilities are top notch, clean and well maintained. Friendly staff. We camped at Whispering Hills RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Up the Creek RV Camp, Pigeon Forge, Tennessee

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Stayed here last year, about the same time. Nice wide shady sites, concrete pads & fire rings. Close to the area attractions, but far enough off the beaten path, very quiet. There are no shower or bath facilities. We made the trip to Cades Cove in the Smokies the day before the so called Gov't. shut down. Previous posts had some issues with water quality, we didn't have any issues with the water. We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $120.00
Overall Rating:

Camped here at one of the premium sites. Wide paved site with easy access to all utilities. Bathroom facilities along with laundry were top notch. Transportation within the Disney site was great, pool area was clean, very child friendly. There were lots of kid things to do, I think you could easily spend your time just enjoying the campground facilities and not even go to the park. We camped here for 5 days with our 2 grand daughters ages 4 and 7. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We stayed here for 6 days, well laid out private sites. Location is ideal, quiet but still close to Pigeon Forge strip. There are no bathroom or shower facilities but with full hookups at each site they were not missed. Park is very well maintained. We camped at Up the Creek RV Camp in a Travel Trailer.

Sunny Brook RV Resort, South Haven, Michigan

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

Very clean, well maintained resort. Our site was a back in, ultra wide and deep, all utilities worked fine. The pool area was top notch. I would have given the resort a 10 if it had some shade. Was lots of small newly planted trees, area looks like it might have been wooded, then cleared?? Close to the beach town of South Haven and a short 2 mile drive to a great u-pick blueberry farm Degrandchamp in South haven. Camped here with 2 grand children: 3 and 6. We would go back. We camped at Sunny Brook RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Hidden Paradise Campground, Saint Paul, Indiana

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

The Garmin had us go through town and we found the small town streets a bit difficult to maneuver. The campground interior roads are gravel and well maintained, restrooms were clean as were the showers. My wife and grand daughter had a large spider encounter and refused to use the facilities. Playground was modern with a dusty sand base. Utilities all worked fine. We camped at Hidden Paradise Campground in a Travel Trailer.

We camped here over Father's Day week end on our way back home. The place was packed. I think the facilities were taxed to the max. The hosts were friendly and very helpful. Coming from the East the entrance is a Sharp right turn, not a problem, just be aware. Close to town and the interstate. We camped at Huntington / Fox Fire KOA in a Travel Trailer.

Van Hoy Farms Family Campground, Union Grove, North Carolina

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $48.00
Overall Rating:

We found this campground to be close to the interstate and Cowboy Town in Love Valley, N.C. a must visit if you are in the area. The campground interior roads are gravel and fairly well maintained, restrooms were clean, but dated. Some run down older travel trailers. All the utilities worked fine, the water pressure was good. They were having live Bluegrass music and a Pow Wow the day we were here. We camped at Van Hoy Farms Family Campground in a Travel Trailer.
