Alamosa KOA, Alamosa, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a simple, but beautifully located campground. Mountain views. The owners were very friendly and helpful. They even let us leave our travel trailer for part of the day when we went to visit Great Sand Dunes National Park (a must see!). When we did not get back to pick it up as quickly as we planned, they called to check on us. If you are in the area, we highly recommend this KOA. We camped at Alamosa KOA in a Travel Trailer.

St. Vrain State Park, Longmont, Colorado

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

This is a simple but lovely campground. Great views of the mountains and decent fishing ponds. The camp spaces are spread far apart which is nice. Friendly staff and friendly campers too. There is no laundry and no Wi-Fi, but all the amenities of town are close by including Wal-Mart. Showers are nice but you must pay. Nice walking paths. Some highway noise, but for being close to town, there is a lot of nature around. We camped at St. Vrain State Park in a Travel Trailer.
