Great Escapee member park easy on and off of I-10. Well maintained and managed. All utilities worked perfectly. It is relatively a big open graveled lot, but sites are well marked with easy access. Not a lot of shade, but we were just overnighting. Lots to do in the area to stay longer. Nothing much at the exit. Will stay here again.

This is a very nice park that is very well managed and maintain hidden behind an adobe wall with plenty of trees to absorb street noise (and shade in the summer). The office provided excellent park/local information and we were escorted to our pull through site, which was too short for the tow vehicle so had to unhook. It is on a very busy multi lane street, which provides very good access to local tourist activities, restaurants and shopping. Very good WiFi and cable TV. Bathrooms and showers were very clean and warm. Would definitely stay here again.

Other 2015 reviews accurately review this I-80 overnight spot. It is about a half mile from I-80 right on the highway, so you will hear highway noise. Only used electric which was fine. The I-80 exit also has a Pilot gas station (no RV lane) with easy in and out. For the easy access convenience and basic services would stay here again.

Have stayed here before for access to the Amana Colonies, Kalona and area. We don't mind the open field feel, but the non-stop dust from the gravel roads remains something the owner should have figured out by now given the consistent negative comments. Other than the roads, it is a very good park for the local sites.

GREAT location (and views) for exploring the Badlands and area. Even in late September with no reservation, don't get here too late if you want electric hookup. Depending on rig and size, sites can be tight. Diversity of other campers is wonderful. Very helpful host. Good access to optional routes into Rapid City/Black Hills.

Stayed just overnight in route home, which is only reason value was rated low. About 5 miles easy drive off I-90, but worth the trip to use a state park. Park grounds and facilities appeared to be very well maintained. Paved roads, gravel sites and good power. Time of year allowed for not needing reservations, lots of choices for camp sites and easy use of dump station. We would stay here again. Close by to Luverne for most anything needed and easy access back onto I-90 in either direction.

Really like this campground next to the river and great access to restaurants, New Orleans, sightseeing, etc. Park is well managed and secure. Would have given it a 10 except the sites can get very water logged from rain and the parking paved pads are too narrow to set-up chairs or room for the steps. Decent spacing between sites. From interstate to park is on very busy multi-lanes, but not a major problem. Roads in the park a little tight, but not a problem.

Very good overnight park with easy access on and off the nearby interstate. Good pull through site, although on a bit of a slope, was easy to get the front level. A few long term campers. If the park was kind of full, might not be as easy getting in and out of sites. Staff very friendly. Good power and WiFi.

Stayed here in December and March just to overnight so no long term experience. Good access from the interstate. Good pull through sites. Good power, water, WiFi and cable connections. Variety of restaurants nearby. Wish they had an "overnight" rate, which they get a lot of. Some long-term residents. We would stay here again.

Stayed all of February. Sites are large with picnic table and grill. Park has great bike trails and variety of weekly activities. Pool was not yet open. Great access to the beaches, restaurants, activities, etc. Park wide WiFi is useless, have to go to the activity center per staff. Our site required 20' of black tank hose to reach the sewer connection. Main road through the campground can be very busy.

The people make this Escapee member park great. The sites are very large and good interior roads. Nice club house, but pool was not open yet. They offer weekly optional activities and meals. The park could greatly benefit from installing gravel or paved parking and patio pads, they are primarily sand and some grass. Would also be nice to have picnic tables. The park is remote from the Gulf area beaches and activities, with Foley being the closest town. Stayed here the month of January.

Just an overnight stop in this small park south of Jackson. If south bound access to the entrance is horrible and I would not do it again. Roads very narrow. Number of long-term RVs. Our pull through site was just long enough.

Another great South Dakota state park. Was able to get a non-reservable site right on the lake and walking/biking path. Electric only sites. Park is very well managed. Several beaches, playgrounds, frisbee golf course and nearby marina. Lots of options to choose from camp sites. Will return.

Stopped here overnight on the way to Hot Springs, AR and was very easy access from the highway. Very nice park, quiet, shaded and friendly staff. Great for overnight and short- term stays while visiting the area. No restrooms or showers, but not a problem for any self contained camper. Large dealership part of it for repairs, parts and looking. Will definitely stay here again.

Great park with great amenities. New park in the finishing stages getting the grass to grow and other minor stuff. Very friendly staff and very well maintained property. Lot 104 was a back in spot next to the lake. They have both pull through and back in. Awesome restroom/showers. Will definitely return.
