John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park, Key Largo, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $43.00
Overall Rating:

Our first camping trip in our new camper. We found this a very nice state park. We arrived mid-week so not very busy, but full by Saturday morning. The beach was not that great. It is okay for sunning, but not swimming. The glass bottom boat trip is amazing and worth the $25 per person fee. All in all, very nice place to camp other than no WiFi at campsites, which we were under the impression there was. We camped at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park in a Travel Trailer.

Glendale Campground, Elizabethtown, Kentucky

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

It is one of the nicest campgrounds we've seen. There were very nice and helpful owners. We arrived quite late, but they waited for us and even guided us to our campsite in their golf cart and made sure we were settled in. It has a beautiful small lake and grounds. Very nice pool, although we didn't get to swim. It is pet friendly (we have 3 schnauzers). We would stay again if the opportunity arises. We camped at Glendale Campground in a Travel Trailer.
