Keystone Lake State Park, Sand Springs, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: October, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We spent 2 days in #76 during weekend and 4 in #30 during the week.
Both sites were large, private, well kept. The weekend was full, but weekdays were almost empty. This is a very pleasant and relaxing campground with good birding, close food and shopping in Tulsa.
My only complaints were stickers in some grass areas which was hard on the dogs and first come first serve policy.
I will camp there again. We camped at Keystone Lake State Park in a Motorhome.

Antlers RV Park, Antlers, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This is a very peasant, and comfortable stop on the Indian Nation Turnpike. They had full hookups and friendly service. It is a basic campground but everything needed for an overnight stay in a very pretty part of the state. We camped at Antlers RV Park in a Motorhome.

Lake Dardnelle State Park, Russellville, Arkansas

Date of Stay: April, 2015 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

My wife and I spent 3 very pleasant nights here. The campground was clean and well groomed, staff were friendly and helpful,

and from #15 in A section we had a nice view of the lake and marina.

My interest was birding, and we saw many colorful birds including white pelicans, red winged blackbirds, blue jays, red headed WPs, Baltimore orioles, scissor tailed flycatchers, and many crows, turkey and black vultures, and Canada geese pairs with babies. We camped at Lake Dardnelle State Park in a Motorhome.

Boot Hill RV Resort, Alamogordo, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2012 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

We enjoyed this campground so much we stayed another day. Very dog friendly, very open feel, and friendly helpful staff, and convenient location. In contrast to the previous reviewer there was no fear, no bad smells, but just a relaxing stay. The only negative was the road noise. We camped at Boot Hill RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Lake Charles State Park, Powhatan, Arkansas

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

I am here now after extending my 2 day stay to 4 days. With AR senior discount price is $21 weekends, 14 weekdays. My location is on the lake: much space between campsites, long dog walks, very quiet and peaceful. Park rangers are helpful and friendly. This is a very good place to get away, bird watch, fish, or do nothing. We camped at Lake Charles State Park in a Motorhome.

Mississippi River State Park, Marianna, Arkansas

Date of Stay: June, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

This is a small, new, state park in east central Arkansas. Very private, somewhat isolated, all sites on lake front, with reported good fishing and a swimming area. A wonderful place to just get away and relax. We have gone twice and plan on returning. In spite of the name, the park is not on the Mississippi river. We camped at Mississippi River State Park in a Motorhome.
