I read the great reviews and was so excited to arrive. First of all the web site advertised fishing and showed many large fish caught in the river. We called and were told the fishing was great. When we arrived we found a long approximately 100 yard 11 to 15% grade down to the park so narrow and steep it was scary let alone it's the only way in and out of the park. If another car or RV is coming up the hill at the same time this could be horrible due to the fact neither would be able to reverse without possibly going off the cliff. After we arrived we found neither of us had cell phone signals. We were surrounded by hills in a canyon. And your on a bank overlooking a stream where there is no fishing allowed. Overpriced and will not return. We had planned on staying a week. Only stayed a couple of days than left.

Nice clean park with easy parking and lots of room. Not many RV's there so we had our pick of the park. Short walk along a trail to the ocean. You could here the waves at night. Wonderfully pleasant and friendly manager's. We even had a black bear roam into the park one day. Never seen that before. Many deer just about daily. Nice walks on an isolated beach. Downside is 4 wheel drives are allowed to drive right on the beach. So you get some wild drivers doing crazy things with there vehicles in this beautiful surrounding. Racing by you doing maybe 35+ miles per hour. About a 15 minute drive into downtown Long beach. Shopping and gift shops on main drag. Would visit again.

Planned on staying for just a night but ended up staying three nights. Easy in and out through a RV dealership. 20 minutes to Costco through town and what we found great is the Wild Animal park about 15 minutes away. Lions, bears and so many other animals to see. You drive your car through the wild animal park. Had a great time. Park was clean and management was very friendly. The only downside is you do hear the traffic from the highway. Would visit again.

Nice park right off the freeway. Easy access for large RV's. Stayed 3 nights. Close to Chico which is a great little town with good food. The only negative is the many of the shade trees produce a lot of sap that stains your RV, car and feet you carry onto your RV carpet. Try to avoid parking under these trees. I would definitely return.

We came for all the swap meets we had heard about. Stayed for a month. We happened to pick the most expensive month of the year to stay. Location was good. Road in the park was very rough. Pot holes throughout the park. Talked to many travelers who were very friendly. Management was difficult to talk to or deal with. Had a problem with my power at my meter and was told to see the maintenance Manager. That didn't go well. He was very rude to say the least. Would not return.
