Check in was easy and pleasant. The pPark was clean, but needed the grass to be cut. It was rainy the first couple of days, but very pretty the last two days, and no grass cutting was done, so hmmm...Roads are graveled with small pebble gravel. This wasn't an issue for us. This is a park that caters to retirees with oversize motorhomes and dogs who don't know they are dogs. It is a little too stuffy and all about those with money. No, the cost isn't bad, but you definitely pay in other ways! I have never seen so many restrictions! If you go with kids you better find a way to keep them quiet, in there place and behave like Stepford children! And if you take a dog, they better be extremely well behaved! And PLEASE don't let them relieve themselves at your campsite, despite the fact that you may clean up after your dog. I come from a well respected family and raised with the class to hang around the most important of people. My husband, the same, and have raised our children to be on their best behavior. No, we aren't rich, but we are blessed. But here, just being blessed certainly will have you feeling like everyone is looking down on you. I hope to one day be able to travel in a nice RV, but I hope I never get to the point that simple people can't feel comfortable around me, as this place certainly can make you feel! We camp in a high end pop-up, but among what was there, you would have thought it was a shack! We left before our reservations ended and we definitely will NOT come back to this campground!

Great, family, pet friendly campground. We only had two issues with the campground. The game room was a little lacking. A lot of the machines were out of order. I say this because, in our world of video gaming kids, they love to play video games. Our kids were a little disappointed. The only other issue I would say we had, is when it rains, it is extremely messy. They really need to gravel the roads and sites a bit more heavily because of the black dirt, the shade keeping it from drying out, and the fact that it is so level that water doesn't run off very well. In spite of this, we really enjoyed the wooded, mountain atmosphere. We will definitely return.
