Monterey Fairgrounds, Monterey, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

Nice and close to Monterrey and Pacific Grove so was convenient for our 3 day stay and the price was good, but the wi-fi was not working and the uneven spot we selected required blocks under our jacks to level the motorhome. Be careful when entering through Gate 6. The dip may cause your hitch to drag as you will see as you approach the driveway from the drag marks in the pavement. We camped at Monterey Fairgrounds in a Motorhome.

Sonoma County Fair Grounds, Santa Rosa, California

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

Great campground when visiting the Sonoma-Russian River Valley and surrounding areas wine regions. Healdsburg is just up the road about 15 miles and is a great little town. Friendly campground hosts, excellent hookups and includes free wi-fi with a strong signal. We were here for 4 days in October 2011 and will definitely be back. We camped at Sonoma County Fair Grounds in a Motorhome.

Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

This is a delightful lakeside park with free wi-fi, friendly staff, and access to the Santa Cruz-Capitola area. One of the quietest parks we have stayed at in our 8 years of motorhome travel around the country. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Motorhome.
