Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground, Bean Blossom, Indiana

Date of Stay: September, 2011 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

Had great time here for a music festival and plan to go back. It is a quiet campground with limited playground and amusement facilities. There is a camp store and museum attached to the campground. A grocery store practically across the highway. The restrooms and showers are trailers that have been built for this purpose. The staff were very friendly and supportive. Nashville, IN is about 5 miles south of this park and a nice tourist town, shopping, art, live theater, and restaurants. Brown County state park is just south of Nashville. We camped at Bill Monroe Memorial Music Park & Campground in a Tent.

Cecil M. Harden Lake (Raccoon SRA), Rockville, Indiana

Date of Stay: August, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

A good place to relax, a nice distance from Indianapolis. It can get real busy during the summer months. Nice facilities, and a camp store on the grounds. There is a boat launching ramp that stays busy. Hiking trails up, around, and along the shore to wear out the little legs. Beach are open onto the lake. The level of the lake can vary greatly depending on the year's rainfall. We camped at Cecil M. Harden Lake (Raccoon SRA) in a Tent.
