Chinook Cove Golf & RV, Barriere, British Columbia

Date of Stay: July, 2015 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

We just completed a trip from Washington state to Alaska and back and this was the best RV park we stayed at the entire trip. In fact we stayed both going up and coming back we liked it so well. Sites are all very spacious and level with well maintained lawn between all sites. There is a big rugged picnic table for each site. Park is above the golf course with nice views overlooking the North Thompson river valley. It is about a quarter mile off and above the highway so noise is not a problem. There are train tracks across the river, probably a mile away, and very few trains so also not a problem. Showers are free and very large and well maintained. Internet was the best we had the entire trip. If you can book ahead, site #8 is the primo site. We will be staying here again! We camped at Chinook Cove Golf & RV in a Travel Trailer.

Beebe Bridge Park, Orondo, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, well maintained park. Everything is either pavement or mowed lawn. Sites are very spacious. Ten sites are pull-through water front with mowed lawn from the site to the water (about 20 of the 46 total sites are pull-through). About half the sites have nice shade trees. Only negatives are no sewer hook-ups at site (there is a dump station in the park), no internet, a bit of road noise from adjacent Hwy 97, and it can be quite windy at times (Don't leave your awning up unattended as the wind can come up fast). We camped at Beebe Bridge Park in a Travel Trailer.

Beebe Bridge Park, Orondo, Washington

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Beautiful, well maintained campground. All paved. Sites well spaced. We had a pull through on the river. Lawn from our site right down to the water. Nearest neighbors were 50' to 75' feet each side. Only negative is lack of sewer at site but they do have a dump station on the way out. We camped at Beebe Bridge Park in a Travel Trailer.

Nice quiet little campground. Friendly, helpful staff. Restrooms could stand to be updated, but clean and adequate none the less. Easy access to and from the freeway and long pull-through sites. Beautiful little park. Lots of shade trees. Level, paved pull-through sites. Quiet except for a few trains on a nearby (1/4 mile) track. Not a big problem though. Would definitely stay here again. We camped at Plymouth Park COE in a Travel Trailer.

Rock Springs / Green River KOA, Rock Springs, Wyoming

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

It is not the prettiest park but more than adequate for a night or two. There is very friendly, helpful staff. There is some noise from the interstate but it is far enough away that it was not a problem. The same is true with the oil tanks - didn't notice any smell and far enough away that we really didn't notice them. I would definitely stay here again. We camped at Rock Springs / Green River KOA in a Travel Trailer.
