Campark Resorts, Niagara Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: June, 2017 - $60.00
Overall Rating:

This park is overrated. Check-in went smoothly. Interior roads are in terrible shape, with lots of potholes. The main road in the front as you work your way to your site in the back is narrow and winding. Everything up by the entrance is set up for kids. Middle section has a lot of seasonal and back section opens up to a large area of good size pull-throughs and back-ins with mostly 30 amps and some 50 amps. No Wi-Fi at sites. We camped at Campark Resorts in a Motorhome.

Happy Land Campground, Kakabeka Falls, Ontario

Date of Stay: September, 2016 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

This is a tired, needs loving care, typical old Canadian RV park. The store and entrance of the park are fine, staff friendly but as you enter the RV site area you notice that a lot of the shrubs, bushes and trees need to be either removed or trimmed back. Has a good location right on HWY 11-17. A little TLC would greatly improve this park. We camped at Happy Land Campground in a Motorhome.

Pacific Border RV Park, Surrey, British Columbia

Date of Stay: October, 2015 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

We have stayed in this park before. The park is well kept and clean and any available sites are very narrow, like right on top of your neighbors. We booked in for a month ($625.00) and later decided to stay another week on the sit we were on but they would not pro-rate the extra week so we paid $300.00 for the extra week. Other parks that we have stayed at will pro-rate the additional rental fee if the site is available. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Motorhome.

Oceanside RV Resort, Saanichton, British Columbia

Date of Stay: August, 2012 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

As far as parks go this is a very well kept park. On the plus side, the sites are a good size full gravel and the roads are paved and wide. The shrubbery and flower beds are trimmed and weed free. The park maintenance crews work very hard to keep everything just so. All the staff, office and grounds are polite and helpful. All the buildings are in very good condition and the washrooms are spotless. On the negative side, There is no security in the park, no front gate and no security perimeter fence. The park is located on aboriginal land and the park's neighbors walk, drive, bicycle and skateboard through the park day or night. Our coach was damaged on several occasions by children throwing and batting stones from a neighboring property and road. The dog run is a very narrow strip of dead grass that runs from the road side to a drainage ditch about 2-3 ft. wide and 100 ft. long, no doggy do garbage pail. As in all parks some do not clean up the dog do. This is by far one of the nicest parks on the island. Security is the #1 pressing issue. We camped at Oceanside RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Rondalyn Resort, Cassidy, British Columbia

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $22.00
Overall Rating:

Park has easy access, is clean and well kept. Lots are a good size with shaded backins and open pull throughs. All lots and roadways are gravel with some grass. Has a nice par three mini golf course. Good set up for group camping. Owner not too accommodating when we asked to move to another lot. Rate reflects monthly stay. Campground is not too far to local towns and Nanaimo. We camped at Rondalyn Resort in a Motorhome.

First time in this clean well maintained park. Rate reflects Passport America rate. We stayed here a week. Has everything you might want, however you have to pay for Wi-Fi. Lots are gravel with concrete patio and paved drive for car. Very nice pool, hot tub area. Friendly office staff. I rated the park a 10 because it has no negatives and it has a great location. We will be back. We camped at Golden Village Palms RV Resort in a Motorhome.

This is a very clean, well maintained park. All roads are paved and wide. Sites are gravel and grass, some have cement patios. The office staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The rate based on the monthly rate. The park has mostly long term occupants, but every lot neat and tidy. The owners cut all the grass. Bushes, schrubs and flower beds are trimmed and free of weeds. All facilities are very clean. Cable TV and Wi-Fi are included in rate. We booked in for a month and will be back. We camped at Pacific Border RV Park in a Motorhome.

We booked into his park for a month. Great location for day tripping. The park is very clean and the manager is friendly and accommodating. Most sites are occupied long term. Sites that will accommodate large RV's are very limited. Washrooms and laundry facilities are very clean. All sites have tall cedars covering 2 sides. You need to call ahead for availability. Price includes: cable TV, Wi-Fi and electricity. We camped at Alderbrook RV Park in a Motorhome.
