Cave Springs (Coconino National Forest), Sedona, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $18.00
Overall Rating:

This park is gorgeous. Our stay was in the fall so cool temps and no crowds. The vault toilets were pretty clean, but not in great shape. It was the end of the season and everything had probably been used hard. A beautiful walk along Oak Creek and a good hike directly across the road. We want to go back. We camped at Cave Springs (Coconino National Forest) in a Motorhome.

Rancho Sedona RV Park, Sedona, Arizona

This is a beautifully maintained park - green, shady oasis that is within walking distance of Sedona. There are also trails nearby and a short walk to the stream. Excellent laundry and other facilities. We camped at Rancho Sedona RV Park in a Motorhome.

City of Rocks State Park, Faywood, New Mexico

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $14.00
Overall Rating:

This is a lovely spot, but not a pleasant experience. We were camped in the rocks and our camp chairs and outdoor thermometer were stolen while we were out exploring. That has never happened to us before anywhere. Also, the hosts had just painted over graffiti on the vault toilet building. Petroglyphs had been defaced in the park. Most likely local day use visitors the ranger said, so watch your belongings. What a shame. We camped at City of Rocks State Park in a Motorhome.
