Sacramento Shade RV Park, Sacramento, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $40.00
Overall Rating:

We reserved by phone without actually seeing the park. The park is right beside busy I-80 business and very close to the railway. The highway noise is incredible and the trains rumble through a couple of times per hour. We had to wear earplugs to sleep. Our RV spot was a little tight to get into but was very private. Had a fence on two sides and lots of greenery everywhere. Most of the sites are 'permanent/long term' residents. There are only 3 short term sites. The two private bathrooms/showers were reasonably clean, but they are getting tired and could use updating, especially the showers. We would not stay there again because of the noise factor. We camped at Sacramento Shade RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Las Vegas RV Resort , Las Vegas, Nevada

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

What a great RV park! The park is exceptionally clean & the staff are friendly and helpful. The lots are wide enough so you don't get 'sardine syndrome'. We got a 'special' internet rate by booking on line. There are private bathrooms with showers that are spacious and clean, clean, clean. Lots of hot water & good pressure. The laundromat is also very clean & the best value I have found in an RV park (front load washers & dryers). I washed & dried over a week's worth of laundry including queen-size bedding for $5.50 (3 loads of washing & drying}. This is definitely our choice of RV parks in Las Vegas. We camped at Las Vegas RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.
