Coleman Park, Brownfield, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

This is a regular stop for us, but this time it was quite noisy after dark. A lot of loud cars for a few hours after dark. I wish they would spray the weeds between the sites. The spots are a good value, we always leave a donation in the on site box. We camped at Coleman Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

Special Note: the local Walmart has closed. That leaves one grocery store & 2 dollar stores. Disappointing because we always do some shopping at this stop.

Albany Motor Inn & RV Campground, Albany, Texas

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

Nice little, one night stay, park. Quiet area and a great value with FHU (50 amp). The only negative I see is the sticker burrs in the grass, not bad now but in another month we probably would not stay here. We would have an unhappy puppy. We camped at Albany Motor Inn & RV Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

High View Campground / Bardwell Lake COE, Ennis, Texas

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $9.00
Overall Rating:

Gate attendants were friendly and knowledgeable. Sites were trashy. Sites are not real level but in site 8 we were able to level our 5th wheel. Not going to mention the homeless trailer that is an eye sore: surprised COE allowed the situation in the park. We camped at High View Campground / Bardwell Lake COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Hickory Walnut Campground COE, Lawrence, Kansas

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

There is a mixture of tents and RV sites with a mixture of 30 amp only or 30 amp with water or there is 30/50 amps with water and sewage. Most sites are fairly level. Sites are clean. We camped at Hickory Walnut Campground COE in a Fifth Wheel.

Rockwell RV Park, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: June, 2015 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

We pulled into the park and noticed that the sites were very close and on dirt. We asked to look at the assigned site before going to it and the clerk acted like it was a very inconvenient. We looked at the site and decided to leave. I might stay here for one night but not for any longer. We camped at Rockwell RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Wright-Patt FamCamp at Bass Lake (Military FamCamp), Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

The grass really needs mowing, the water pressure was about 15 lbs (per my gauge), the sites were fairly level. The folks working at the check-in were friendly but had no ideal what spaces were open. We were given 4 spots which were already filled, so I just told them which spots were empty and was given that one. They told me they were just reopening so this could be part of the problem. Doubt if we would stay here again. We camped at Wright-Patt FamCamp at Bass Lake (Military FamCamp) in a Motorhome.

Old West RV Park, Reed Point, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2012 - $17.00
Overall Rating:

The park was small, but very good access from I-90. New owners bend over backward to insure a good stay and that every thing worked. Minor problem with sewer (old pipes), site 10 and 11 drains slow, but owners plan on putting in a new one this fall. At this time they have no restriction on Passport America discounts. We paid half price for a week at $17 a night. I will always use this park when in the area. We camped at Old West RV Park in a Motorhome.

Loveland Station Campground, Loveland, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $19.00
Overall Rating:

Friendly owners which are very laid back. This is not your normal run RV Park. But I will stay here when ever we are in the area. Park could be greatly improved by making the permanent residents clean up around their sites. The Park has great access to the surrounding area. We camped at Loveland Station Campground in a Motorhome.

Pecan Creek Lodge & RV Park, Tonkawa, Oklahoma

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

This is a clean park. Website stated $15 a night, but I was told by a camper it had been raised to $20. Sewage was way back of the site and couldn't be used without additional hoses. Was very quiet. Not easily accessible for big fifth wheels. Would stay again. We camped at Pecan Creek Lodge & RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

Dieker Trailer Sales, Emporia, Kansas

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $8.00
Overall Rating:

This park is good for an overnight stay. It is at I-35 so there is a lot of highway noise, plus there is a train track close by which adds to the noise. There is water at the entrance. There is also a sign which state the rate is $6. But since the box was full I went to the office the next day and was told it was $8. The owner just didn't want to change the sign. We camped at Dieker Trailer Sales in a Fifth Wheel.
