Heartland RV Park, Huntsville, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $24.00
Overall Rating:

Park has very few trees and NO grass. The sites are pretty uneven. There are many people that live there year around and do not keep their sites clean. Lots of junk around trailers. Looks kind of trashy. Washers and dryers work well and are not very expensive to use. People that run the park are very nice. We camped at Heartland RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Lincoln Parish Park, Ruston, Louisiana

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

All workers were very friendly. There is a paved sidewalk all the way around the lake that is easy to walk and you can see lots of wildlife. The sites are level and very shady. Some of the sites are right on the water. Will go back here for sure. We camped at Lincoln Parish Park in a Travel Trailer.

Multipurpose Complex RV Park, Canton, Mississippi

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $20.00
Overall Rating:

This park has absolutely no trees. All the sites are very unlevel and no grass. There are mostly people who live here year round and have lots and lots of junk outside their trailers. Trailers have air conditioners sticking out of them. They even have pet roosters (that management knows about.) I will not be staying here again. We camped at Multipurpose Complex RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Camp Tonkawa Springs RV Park, Garrison, Texas

Date of Stay: October, 2011 - $27.00
Overall Rating:

The people that run this park are very rude. Every question we asked got answered with "I don't know." When we got there, (and had already paid for a week) we found there were goats, deer, dogs tied to trailers and wild dogs running around. The deer are inside the park and not afraid of people or dogs. The deer peed all over coolers, chairs and tables during the night. Way too many deer. Went to the office in the morning to tell them this was unacceptable, they said, "you can leave but no refund." Had we know the situation with the other animals we would have never made the reservations. They are very deceptive in their description of the park. We paid for 7 nights and only stayed one because they were not honest. We, nor any of our friends will ever stay there. We camped at Camp Tonkawa Springs RV Park in a Travel Trailer.
