Frontier Campground, Waynesville, Ohio

Date of Stay: June, 2010 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

New Owners and they have redone the baths already and making other improvements. Site selection is important. Stayed on site 9 which is the same as several years ago and they have leveled site and added a small concrete patio. Lots of trees so we did not bother with satellite TV as finding a a line of site would have taken a while. We were in the shade 90% of the time. One note and they tell you to run the water for at least 30 seconds before hooking up. We camped at Frontier Campground in a Motorhome.

Peace River Campground, Arcadia, Florida

Date of Stay: May, 2010 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Still an "active" campground for younger active ATV and fossil digger in the river people. Added 100 acre primitive camping area and upgrading the electric in the full hook up area with better and more 50 amp service. This is not a place to sit back as I cannot say active country enough but a ton of fun for us. We camped at Peace River Campground in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: January, 2009 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

They are continuing to modernize their loops and are adding some sites next to the Meadow Trading Post. They moved the cart rental to the front, and you can get one at check in. We get the rate for Florida residents which makes it very close in price to the other campgrounds in the area. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, Lake Buena Vista, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2008 - $46.00
Overall Rating:

Agree with the others. It is a "Magical" Place and worth every penny of the Florida Resident Rate. Internet is $9.95 a day. Golf carts are close to $50 per day and prices are "resort". We had a power problem (no hot leg to 50 amp) and it was fixed in less than an hour. We camped at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground in a Motorhome.

Plans include Old Flagler RR cars into guest quarters, shopping area, working train with cars similar to Disney, beach on the quarry lake, rental cabins in private area and more. If all plans are completed it will be a destination resort by itself. Road cycling route by Gainesville cycle club of 64 miles is close by. We camped at Williston Crossings RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Date of Stay: April, 2008 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

This Motorhome only ownership RV Resort is typical ORA. Our site was in the newly completed chip and putt golf course currently at 14 holes. Our site was number 200 (pull in) accrues from a waterfall and Green. Site upkeep is currently $250 per month plus the site cost to buy in. We stayed on a three night free promotion but were not put under any purchase pressure. We do not plan on buying a site or membership anywhere. We camped at Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West in a Motorhome.

Convenient to shopping and restaurants. Sites were a bit disappointing for the price, but does have a lot of amenities otherwise. WiFl $4.95 per day. Staff took us around in golf cart to preview site and assisted in backing in. Site picnic table was missing so they brought one within minutes. New bike trail nearby had grand opening next day. We camped at Royal Coachman RV Resort in a Motorhome.

Orlando / Kissimmee KOA, Kissimmee, Florida

Date of Stay: October, 2007 - $65.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed on site 209 with Patio with furniture and a fire pot and wooden swing. Even though they had had rain every day for over a week it was well drained. Although across from a Sams Club it is quiet. Staff was very friendly. The campground is "new" as it used to be on the Sams site. Our pull through was over 150 ft long. We camped at Orlando / Kissimmee KOA in a Motorhome.

Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West, Port Saint Lucie, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

Lots owned or rented some of the owners are putting in some pretty fancy patio cook areas. Class A only but would like to see them allow the "Big C's" becoming popular in the higher end motorized RV market. They are almost complete with phase II. We camped at Motorcoach Resort St. Lucie West in a Motorhome.

Riverbend Motorcoach Resort, LaBelle, Florida

Date of Stay: September, 2007 - $45.00
Overall Rating:

We stay there as a weekend getaway as we are close. It is very high end and class A only over 27' and do not seem to have an age restriction. We are not owners and are always treated very well. The oversize pads are consistent with a choice of River, Lake Side, Creek Side or off water sites. The class A restriction is becoming common for this type of lot ownership RV parks as the sites do not become cluttered looking like some campgrounds with long term residents in travel trailers and favors. We would like to see this type of campground allowing the "Big C's" that are becoming popular. We camped at Riverbend Motorcoach Resort in a Motorhome.

Very Adult again but not as well kept as it used to be. No one under 18. If you like quiet this is the place. They even added gravel to our entry area to stay clean. Has stream trees and lightning bugs. We camped at Creekside RV Park in a Motorhome.
