Helena Campground and RV Park, Helena, Montana

Date of Stay: July, 2014 - $32.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects weekly stay. Park is an old, former KOA. The back section is filled with permanent residents. A new area up front has been added with pull-throughs for transients. These spaces are narrow but adequate. Park is fairly close to city amenities, good location. Current owner is trying to upgrade as he can. If you want a resort, this isn't it. If you want an economical place to stay at a good location in Helena, you can't beat it for now, and if the improvements continue, it can only go up from here. We camped at Helena Campground and RV Park in a Motorhome.

Kirkwood Resort & Marina, West Yellowstone, Montana

Date of Stay: June, 2014 - $16.00
Overall Rating:

This is a country park, about 20 miles from West Yellowstone, and price reflects a monthly rate. They have a boat ramp; the park is aimed mostly at fishermen, but is a nice place for a quiet retreat. the local chuckwagon put out good food and the Wi-Fi was upgraded while we were there, from horrible to very adequate. Spaces are close and gravel, but if the park's amenities suit you, it is quite nice. We camped at Kirkwood Resort & Marina in a Motorhome.

Willow Lake RV & Camping Park, Prescott, Arizona

Date of Stay: October, 2013 - $15.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects monthly rate. I would for the most part agree with previous reviews, and normally would have rated this park a 5 or 6. However, attitude on the part of the person checking me in started me off on a negative note. Then, after I had paid, I found out that the Wi-Fi was only for the people in the short term spaces. After I paid for a month, they put me in the long term spaces, and only then informed me that Wi-Fi was not included in the monthly rate. Nowhere on the web site was this indicated. Had I known it was not included, I would never have stayed here. The park itself adjoins a real park with beautiful hiking trails. The location is scenic and a lake is in the park for those, like me, who Kayak. We camped at Willow Lake RV & Camping Park in a Motorhome.

Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn), Terlingua, Texas

Date of Stay: November, 2012 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Rate reflects stay of at least 7 days. Pretty much a gravel lot, but great location in the center of Big Bend activities. Employees were both friendly and helpful. It is what it is, and what it is is about as good as it gets in this area. We camped at Big Bend Resort & Adventures RV Park & Campground (Big Bend Motor Inn) in a Motorhome.

Austin RV Park North, Austin, Texas

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Basically, this is a long term park. Advantage is that it is close to Austin and Round Rock amenities. Rates are all inclusive for long term stay, that is $450 a month includes all utilities and Wi-Fi. There are no amenities such as club house, pool, organized activities and the like. Mostly it is workers staying here for close in access. We camped at Austin RV Park North in a Motorhome.
