This is the first park we hit when getting off the Port Angeles/Victoria Ferry (Coho) and the last before catching the ferry. It has a limited number of pull thru's . It is very convenient with Quality Foods across the street with very cheap fuel. We were chastised for not telling them our length with the bikes on the back. But managed to accommodate us.

This is our 10th time to stay in this park. Needless to say we like it. The lots are paved but usually need a bit of leveling. They are all nestled in the the trees, which is beautiful but impossible for satellite. There is a wonderful indoor pool. The store is reasonably equipped. Gas and diesel is available, but is expensive. The channel guide that is provided bears no resemblance to what is available.

We had a paved, level pull through. It was in the trees so there was a lot of fir needles. No staff on the weekend. Our space was in the middle and we were only about 150ft. from the train tracks and 5-6 trains went through per night. Bring your ear plugs. Good Wifi. Good cable.

This park is owned and run by the County. It is a quiet little gem. Beautiful views of the rolling green hills and a lovely little town tucked in the valley. The park is sparse but more than adequate. With spacious pull- thrus. The restrooms and showers were spotless. Wifi was very good as was the cable. The camp host was extremely knowledgeable about everything within 30 miles. It was very windy when we visited. Well worth the 2 days we were there. It is $20.00 for 30 amp & $25.00 for 50 amp.

I booked this park because of the very positive reviews. It seemed a bit expensive but sounded nice. I was surprised, when I phoned, to find that mid week in April they did not have a full hookup available. I booked anyway. We ended up in the Overflow lot. Gravel, not level, and 30ft. from a very busy road. No garbage, had to give it to park staff. Very weak WiFi. While the rest of the park was nice. I would not recommend the overflow. The staff were nice but probably overworked. I did not get a receipt and had to ask for it. Had to go back and ask for a Channel guide.

I usually avoid KOA parks as they are too expensive for what you get. This KOA is not the usual upscale park. It is woodsy, gravel but with everything you need. The staff was very nice. If I was passing through this area again and needed an over night spot. I would consider the KOA.

Nice clean park easy space to get into. Concrete RV pad and patio.Very quiet. Nice staff. Walking distance to several restaurants, Walmart, Walgreen's. Wifi slowed as the park filled up. Good list of TV channels. Open shot for Satellite TV.

This is our second time here. Very nice park. WiFi is weak. You have to put down a $75.00 refundable deposit for a TV box. Good shot for Satellite. Nice area, nice view. Concrete RV pad. Very quiet. Good store but nothing fresh. We would return.

We had stayed here before so we knew what to expect, which not much. Had to find the manager. Hand over $15.00 and go find a place you like. It is 1/2 way between Palm springs and Carson city so it is good for an overnight-er. Quiet, you can see 3 hwy s but you can't hear them. WiFi was available but I did'nt get a password so I used my Datajack. No cable but good over the air reception.

We have stayed here many times as it is very convenient to Joshua Tree park. A little road noise Amboy road but a nice park for a couple of days.

This a resort, not a park. This is our 3rd year that we have spent Feb. & March here. In 10 years of traveling we have not found anyplace that is even close. The people and staff are wonderful. It has everything, pools, workout rooms, carpentry shop and lots of activities.

This park is a gem. This is about our fifth time. We stop for a few days in Jan. heading south and take advantage of the wonderful oranges and again in April heading north to enjoy the doughnuts. Some highway noise but not bad. The trains are about a mile away but frequent.

Date of Stay:

Nice park, very helpful. Gave us 2 spaces so we could park on the diagonal and not have to unhook. Good for an overnighter.

Good for an overnighter. No cable, but good over the air reception. WiFi at the far end was week and slow. But we will stay her again.

Of the 100 or so RV parks we have been in 7 Feather tops the list. Beautiful, well maintained sites. Pool. Shuttle to and from the Casino, Restaurants, Grocery etc. We will be back.
