Palms River Resort needs to be your 'Destination Resort' if you want to spend time in the warmth of the Southwest. We found it by accident, and it is one of the best accidents we have ever had. We were headed to Phoenix, found an ad, made a call, and you can say we are HAPPY CAMPERS !! Palms offer extra large sites, friendly managers, great activities, the Colorado River, a general store, beautiful and clean bathrooms, game room, nice gym. All in a gated community that feels like home. Everyone we have met here is friendly, and we believe that is a result of the NEW management that we were told recently came on (Fall of 2011). They and their friendly staff enjoy creating a feeling of community, with Taco Tuesdays and Pancake Breakfast on Sundays that make for a fun time of getting together and meeting people from all over. Wednesday is bingo night at .25 cent cards. We came mid December and found out right away that they had fun things planned for Christmas including a potluck and gift exchange. Then the resort owner (another friendly guy) throws a big New Year's Party for the guests with catered food and music. The resort is half RV spots and half vacation home owners. Very family and pet friendly, great dog walk area, lots of things to do and easy access to highway, Needles, Bullhead City, Ft Mohave and Ft. Havasu. Just 1.5 hrs to Vegas! This is high living and most assured a 5 STAR RESORT that will be our winter destination from here forward. (just don't tell too many people or we wont have room for all our friends to come here every winter) If you have not heard of this place yet, hold on because you will. RV park life does not get any better than this.

Easy highway access, pretty tight park as far as moving around, the train noise is quite loud and they tell you right away that the internet connection is not good and IT IS NOT. Staff is not overly friendly but they get you into the park and answer your questions. Small gated pet area. While looking around Kingman it is the nicest park in the area, but would recommend passing Kingman and heading to Needles if is in route.

This is a great and fun park to stay at. Very family friendly. Pool, hot tub and billiards are all a plus !! The staff is friendly and easy to work with. There are playgrounds for the kids and a nice laundry room. Sites are not huge, but not small, and easy to get in and out. I would not say they have shade sites as the trees are all quite young. Easy access to the highway and shopping. Winco, Starbucks, Home Depot, gas and banks are within a couple of blocks along with a good tire shop and a trannsmission shop - just saying. When in Boise, this is where we will go.

This park is WONDERFUL, the owners are friendly and very welcoming. They take the time to decorate and give a homey atmosphere. The sites are a nice size and easy to get in and out of. Great highway access on and off, close to shopping and the cute town of Bozeman. Free movie rentals and a cozy office, living room area to visit. Bathroom and laundry are always clean and very roomy. When in the area this is our choice of stay.

This is the best park in the Spokane Valley by far to consider. The management is friendly and will do all they can to give help when needed. He goes out of his way to make life more enjoyable. The laundry room is not huge, but you get your laundry done. The bathrooms are always clean. There is propane is on site, and a nice area to walk the dogs across the street. Great location with easy access to the highway, malls, post office, etc. The shade trees are great in the summer. Hopefully you will not have to be in this area during the winter, but if so, this is a great location as it makes traveling around town easy and convenient. The only negative part of this park is the size of the spaces; things can be pretty tight. We stayed there several months in a 30' 5th wheel and can park our truck there, too, but that is about it. When we stay in Spokane, this is where we will always be.
