Pinto Lake Park, Watsonville, California

Date of Stay: December, 2011 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

Pinto Lake has great wi-fi. I take a 12' jon boat with electric trolling motor. The lake is big and the wild life is interesting. The site was small, but came with cable, sewer, water, and 30amp electric. You get a key from the manager to get in and out after park hours. I will definitely camp here more often thanks to the lake and wi-fi. We camped at Pinto Lake Park in a Travel Trailer.

Thousand Trails / Morgan Hill Preserve, Morgan Hill, California

Date of Stay: November, 2011 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

I've taken my family camping here a few times, but my Dad took me here with the family a lot while growing up. I remember riding my bike around fast at night and visiting the lodge to see what was up. Now when we visit the lodge it's to see what good reading materials there are. We enjoy walking around the park and viewing the creek. The sites have water, electric, and ease of access. We usually leave the campground to get some food in Gilroy at In-N-Out, or in Morgan Hill because it's closer. While we're out we check out some of the best shopping in the world for campers. There's a Walmart, Camping world, RV dealerships, and outlets to name a few. Anyway we enjoy this place and the amenities around the area. We camped at Thousand Trails / Morgan Hill Preserve in a Travel Trailer.
