Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: July, 2016 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Place is okay, great location. Roads are gravel and tend to get dusty. Bathroom is dated; faucet fell off one sink, could only get hot water out of all 3 sinks. Showers okay, again are dated. Only two toilets for this large park. With over 120 slots and the place appearing to be booked every day we were day, I think they could put some money into remodeling the bathrooms or even paving the roads. Some of the workers were quite friendly, one was rude to my wife and ignored her when she came into the office and asked where the laundry was. Location was great. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Next to the river with paved paths to walk. Many nearby shops and restaurants - great location. Despite the issues, we would stay here again. But it could be so much more.

Tips for other Campers:

There is a long, scenic easy walking trail next to the river, next to the RV park. That is one of the strong attributes to this park. (Watch out for some of the idiot bike riders though)

Beautiful campground, plenty of room, dog walk area. Service was excellent and can't say enough about the Manager Ric. We had problems with our electronic hitch and Ric showed us how to fix the problem. He was friendly and extremely helpful. This is our third time here and it is one of our favorites. (Don't remember site number) We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

We just stayed in the park area. Pilot gas station within half mile, RV park is next to the freeway for easy access. Noise did not bother us.

Boise Riverside RV Park, Boise, Idaho

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

As mentioned, the best thing about this park is the location next to the walking trail along the Snake River. The road and spots are gravel; too bad would rate a 10 otherwise. The RV spots are quite spacious and we would definitely stay here again. We camped at Boise Riverside RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Pony Express RV Resort, North Salt Lake, Utah

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $35.00
Overall Rating:

Very pretty and modern RV park. Trailer slots are paved, staff friendly. Bathrooms are individual units with shower and toilet; six units in all, more than adequate and very clean. The no refund less than 24 hours notice is posted on the web; common business of many RV parks we have found, similar to hotels. One of the best rv parks we have stayed at. We camped at Pony Express RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Extremely clean and well kept park, great laundry and restroom facilities. Staff very helpful and friendly as are our fellow travelers. Large pull through, easy to park. Next to the park is a dike used as a walking trail. Goes on for miles. Great exercise for walking. Close to I-5 freeway at about two miles. Quiet, we have stayed here before and will return. We camped at Brookhollow RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Park is nice, people on front desk were friendly. Restrooms were clean and they are pet friendly, even for our dog with a low IQ. This place is under used and not sure why. Great view. Cable TV is not great. We have a Verizon cell phone and it worked with no problem. We camped at Mt St Helens RV Resort in a Travel Trailer.

Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground, Carmel, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $37.00
Overall Rating:

Absolutely beautiful and quiet RV park about 5 miles east of Carmel. Bathrooms extremely clean as are the grounds; in fact with all of the plants it could be a park by itself. Gorgeous swimming pool and park hosts were very friendly and helpful. Yea, the road leading to the park is not great, but it is only about 5 minutes long to reach this beautiful park; well worth it. In fact we extended a day we liked it so much. The only drawback was backing the RV trailer into the tight spot. If I had more experience, which I am definitely getting, it probably would have been easier. We will definitely stay here again. Plus you have to visit Carmel: what a great town! So much to see! We camped at Saddle Mountain Ranch Campground in a Travel Trailer.

This is an older RV park with several permanent residents. Place was quiet with plenty of room to pull our trailer through. Park host was extremely friendly and it was a good area to walk our dog. The bathroom was more than adequate and very clean. We would definitely stay here again. We camped at Waiiaka RV Park (formerly Waiiaka Trailer Haven) in a Travel Trailer.

Calistoga RV and Campground, Calistoga, California

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $30.00
Overall Rating:

I was surprised about this place after reading some of the reviews. This is a pleasant RV park and we weren't packed in like sardines. The bathrooms are dated but the location of this park close to downtown Calistoga can't be beat. Plenty of trees in the park. We would stay here again. We camped at Calistoga RV and Campground in a Fifth Wheel.

Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon, Salem, Oregon

Date of Stay: June, 2012 - $34.00
Overall Rating:

We made a mistake when we came here: we only stayed one day! Everything was outstanding, the people were friendly, the sites easy to get into, the place is absolutely gorgeous in a quiet setting. You won't find better restrooms anywhere, many showers and extremely clean. I can see why they are rated one of the top 100 RV parks in the country. We will definitely be back, only this time for a week or two. We camped at Premier RV Resort of Salem Oregon in a Travel Trailer.
