Spent three weeks here, visiting family who are ECU faculty. This park has excellent water, sewer, and electric hookups; no other facilities. Price seems a bit steep, but since it's about the only place available in Greenville, we were happy to pay it. The weekly and monthly rates are discounted from the daily rate quoted above. The park owners made every effort to accommodate us. Even though we were first told that there was no space available for our first weekend, they offered to provide a parking space with electric and water; we would have to have used the dump station. We agreed to take that. Then they had a last-minute cancellation, so we got a full hookup site by the lake. This is a beautiful area, and very quiet. Will definitely try to get a space here on our next visit to Greenville.

Stayed one night in the section down the road from the office. Sites are level and plenty long for 36' MH towing a CR-V. While this park is nothing fancy, it had everything I needed and is easy off/on I-20. I will certainly stay here again if passing thru at a good stopping time.

Very nice site. Had to unhook car and back in, no problem. This park had everything we needed. Will stay here again when passing thru Augusta.

Small park (13 spaces), all long pull-thrus with excellent space between sites. At the time of our stay, only one space was available, but it was excellent with 50 amp electric and large shade trees. The owner was very helpful -- I was visiting an area where I lived more than 50 years ago. Turns out he and I used to ride the same school bus. He gave me detailed information, which was 100% accurate, about the place I had lived. If you need to visit Laverne, I recommend this park! No pool or playground, no bath house, but everything I needed.

I called on the phone and the owner said that if he wasn't there when I arrived, just pick a spot. I did. When he came by later to collect, we got to talking and he took me on a tour of all his property. Very friendly and helpful. This park had everything I needed for my short stay. It would have been nice to have WiFi, but not available. Otherwise, what more could you ask for? I will stay here again if in this area.

Arrived without a reservation, but was able to get a site. I paid for one night. I was ill on the planned day of departure, so I called the office and they initially told me that we would probably have to move to another site, as the space I was in was booked for that night. However, they were able to contact the person who had the booking, and that person agreed to take another site, so I didn't have to move. I feel that the folks in the office here went above and beyond what was required or even expected. I didn't even have to go to the office to pay for the additional day; they let me pay the next day before we departed. I can't say enough good things about this park -- it had everything I needed, and the service was superior. We had beautiful views of the bay and the bridge, great dog-walking area, and the marina store was near our site. I heartily recommend this park as a stopover or destination for a longer vacation.

Arrived without a reservation and saw the "No Vacancy" sign at the gate, after I had turned in. The manager came out and asked if she could help me. I told her I just needed to turn around and get out since they didn't have space. She said they might be able to accommodate me. Long story short, they parked us for the night, with an electric hookup, on the end of a parking row. Next day, we got a full hookup spot. We intended to stay for three days, but extended to five to take advantage of their good WiFi to Skype with our grandson on his birthday. All facilities we used were excellent, and we could not have been treated any better. The folks running this park did everything in their power to make sure we had a place to stay that first night, and rearranged reservations to make sure we had space for the next four nights. They could give lessons on how to run a park. If I ever go back to the Vancouver area, this is where I want to stay.

We were here just for an overnight stay, and this campground was excellent for that. Pretty expensive, but what a view! We were in the "upper" area for larger rigs. Our site was level and easy to setup in. I did have to use two lengths of sewer hose to reach the connection, but that's why I carry two sections. I would stay here again of passing thru this area.

Good campground for an overnight stay. The owner loaned me a ladder so I could secure my awning which was trying to unroll in the Kansas wind. WiFi did not work at the campsites, but we were told that it would work near the office. The only negative I have about this campground is that there are a lot of goatheads (stickers) that my dogs got into (and that got into me when I was pulling them from the dogs' feet). I would stay here again if passing thru this area.

This was a place to park for a couple of nights. It did have full hookups, but other than that, I can't say much for this place. The sites are so closely jammed together that there isn't room to put your awning out. Dog walk is quite a hike from most RV spaces, and is just a gravel area. Signs at every grassy area warning you to keep your dogs off the grass. I saw a WiFi antenna on top of the laundry building, but could not access the WiFi without signing up and paying, which I don't do. I would not stay here again.

OK for an overnight stop. If I were staying in the area for more than a couple of days, I would probably look elsewhere. Sites are level, and long enough that we could have left our toad connected. No shade, and the grass needed mowing. I would stay here again if I needed a stopover and this park was on the way.

I was a little apprehensive about stopping here because many reviews mention unlevel sites. We had a level site under a small tree, at the end of a row -- It doesn't get any better unless the tree gets bigger. The only reason I didn't rate this park a 10 is that many of the sites, including the one I had, are 30 amp instead of 50 amp. I could have had a 50-amp site, but would not have had the tree. Very helpful and friendly office staff. Casino shuttle (I didn't use it, but it is there for those who want it). Frequent security patrols. Huge area for walking dogs. I'm looking forward to my next opportunity to stay here.

Suitable for an overnight, but not as nice as we were led to believe by the Web site. We had a pull-thru site, but had to do some maneuvering to get out due to long-term residents parking in the roads. The people running the office were very nice; the office is left open 24/7 so you always have access to the book exchange, etc. Probably won't stay here again.

Stopped here for an overnight, but ended up staying three nights because everything in Gulfport/Biloxi was booked for Labor Day. We decided to stay here and relax for a couple of extra days. Other than WiFi, this park has everything we wanted. Price is reasonable. Management is very helpful and friendly. This is definitely a dog-friendly park. There are a lot of long-term residents; the ones I had contact with were great! We will stop here again.

Date of Stay:

If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful place, this is it. Arriving the week after Labor Day, we didn't need a reservation -- there were dozens of spaces available. We were assigned to a very large, shady space that was probably the easiest back-in I've ever had. I do feel that this park is overpriced; discounts are available on the monthly rate, but not for shorter stays. Also no Wi-Fi lessens the desirability. But I would certainly stay here again just for the quiet atmosphere.
