Great people, very much a family hands on campground. Laundry was clean. Showers were clean and the owners were great. The pool was not operational yet, but it had been recently painted and looked great. Good playground for the young ones. Plenty of restaurants in the area. Safeway in town with pharmacy, and pharmacist was very helpful with a special order. We enjoyed our stay very much. We camped at Holbrook / Petrified Forest KOA in a Motorhome.

The dog walk around the parking area has trash containers and bags for picking up after fido. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We stayed an extra day we were so comfortable. Mountain Creek Campground, Gardners, Pennsylvania

Date of Stay: June, 2006 - $28.00
Overall Rating:

We had a very pleasant stay at this park. Heavy rain the night we arrived, some standing water, gone by morning. We were at "tree 01 spot D" which is the third right over bridge. This is a very children friendly park. Sewer system would be good but a pump unit comes around to drain tanks on regular schedule. Bath house could use some updating. Well stocked store. No problem setting up satellite dish for TV. Three dump stations makes departure faster. Close to state park and battelfields. We will return soon. We camped at Mountain Creek Campground in a Travel Trailer.
