Yuma Lakes RV Resort, Yuma, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $1.00
Overall Rating:

Older park in need of upgrade. Could not use our on board washer/dryer based on park directions that it would back up their septic system. Use the best water filter and softener you can find. Water smells and is full of minerals. We camped at Yuma Lakes RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

Tips for other Campers:

The Park is 20 minutes from Yuma and is in the middle of agriculture land. Dusty always. Main road coming into the park is in bad shape. GO slow and be careful opening cabinets when you settle in. Nice dog run.

Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort), Eloy, Arizona

Date of Stay: April, 2017 - $25.00
Overall Rating:

Excellent long term stay resort. We stayed from Oct 2016 until Apr 2017. Always some event at the park, with exercise room, swimming pool, hot tub, large club house with kitchen and always clean showers and bathrooms. The management is top notch and has the customer in mind at all times. Very friendly folks throughout the park. Nice small dog run. We camped at Silverado RV Resort (formerly Desert Valley RV Resort) in a Fifth Wheel.

Custer's Gulch RV Park, Custer, South Dakota

Date of Stay: June, 2016 - $50.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed for several weeks in our 5'ver. Check in is fast, no escort to site but sites are easy to find and to back in to. Mostly back in sites but about 10 pull throughs. Sites are mostly level gravel. Plenty of room in both type sites for those 45 footers. No dog run, but plenty of places to walk them. Nice and quiet. No road noise at all. They divergent cars, ATVs. All sites have fire pits and they sell firewood on site. Nice stay. We camped at Custer's Gulch RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.

The town of Custer is only a few miles away with some convenient shopping. Custer State Park is just down the road. Many other sites and attractions in the area.

Colorado Heights Camping Resort, Monument, Colorado

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $11.00
Overall Rating:

Nice large park but tough for large rigs. Sites are typically not level, Wi-Fi is too weak, and the water pressure is low. It is crowded with sites too close, and noisy in the summer. It is rated as Coast to Coast Premium-but should be Classic. Only one 50 amp site available in the main park with old wiring. 50 amp available on the hill (called the parking lot) in all of the sites there. A pool available but is small and crowded. Hot tubs (2) work some of the time. No fire mitigation in the park even with two major fires within 10 miles in the past year. We camped at Colorado Heights Camping Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

High Desert RV Park, Albuquerque, New Mexico

Date of Stay: September, 2012 - $12.00
Overall Rating:

We stayed at this wonderful park and just loved it. All the vintage RVs and furnishings in the club house were quite nostalgic. Convenient to all of Albuquerque (ABQ) sites and services. We camped at High Desert RV Park in a Fifth Wheel.
