The staff was cordial, but not especially friendly. Little was done to make campers abide by the fire restrictions in spite of fires in the park less than 10 miles away. Very discouraging.

Ours was a monthly rate of $660 plus electricity. It's a nice place. Very clean. Trash is picked up daily. Staff was nice, tried to be helpful. It's a nice oasis from the surrounding area. Trees surrounded the park. The road into the area is narrow with steep drop-offs, no shoulders. The biggest challenge to this facility is you encounter an insane amount of traffic within 2 miles, as you encounter greater Houston traffic. If you're willing to stay away from the interstate, it's a lovely place. Trying to use our own satellite was difficult because of the tree interference next to our site.

If you like to participate in activities, this is a great place. It's in the Hill Country of Texas and was quite chilly this winter, but summers would be most enjoyable. The town of Kerrville is convenient, providing adequate groceries, etc.

We have stayed at this facility for many years. The owner, Angie Price, is charming and delightful. She doesn't tolerate any nuisance RV'ers, and is available to answer questions and solve problems. Although it is a basic facility, it is along the marina and provides lovely breezes 24/7. There is additional parking for trailers and additional vehicles. Many folks come back year after year because they know they are charged a reasonable fee for the area, and have access to the interstate and main thoroughfares in the Fort Lauderdale area. There are lovely restaurants and grocery shopping within 2 miles, as well as proximity to the airport for visitors. This RV park was not meant for children who need lots of play activities and equipment; however it fits nicely for those who are retired and want a safe place to serve as home base while in the Fort Lauderdale area. For the sportsman, Bass Pro is within a mile, and provides equipment for fishing from the marina there at the park.

The 50 amp sites did not work. We had to wait hours until the owner managed to replace the breakers, which had never been done in 9 years, according to him. He blamed our coach for the problem; yet we had no problem at another KOA the day before. The owner was also VERY difficult when we asked if we might stay beyond checkout time. we were told we could not, nor could we park our coach on the very edge of the property and allow the generator to run to keep from losing food in the refrigerator since we are all electric.

Facility was previously a mobile home park that has been renovated and updated. Lovely grounds, but backed up to a public path in a not so good part of greater Fort Lauderdale. No security on north side of the park at all. Very open, wide sites, nicely paved. Almost all are French Canadians here, and it is owned by French Canadians. Don't sign up for an annual lease until you have been here, because you can't get your money back.

Although not a lot of facilities, it is a very spacious park with marina access. Sites are large and well maintained. Tri-Rail and interstates are close to the facility. Just a half mile from Bass Pro Shop. Good drainage for Florida's downpours. Small, but very comfortable park for those who don't need a lot of entertainment on site.
