Happy Traveler RV Park, Palm Springs, California

Date of Stay: January, 2014 - $42.00
Overall Rating:

An older park not designed for large RV's, filled with large RV's and fifth wheels. Very very claustrophobic small spaces - road filled with cars. Convenience to downtown Palm Springs is the only reason to stay here. We camped at Happy Traveler RV Park in a Motorhome.

Norris Campground (NPS Campground), Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $7.00
Overall Rating:

Suitable only for small RV's or trailers. Most sites have a lot of slope. Older campground in poor condition, but centrally located in Yellowstone and the only nearby campground that is first come-first serve. Fills up quickly in the peak season. And cheap. We camped at Norris Campground (NPS Campground) in a Motorhome.

Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated), Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $10.00
Overall Rating:

This campground is in Teton National Park but outside the entrance. The senior rate is $10. Sites are well spaced. The campground is within short walking distance of the Gros Ventre River. The staff was very helpful. Pronounced Grow Vont. We camped at Gros Ventre Campground (Concessionaire Operated) in a Motorhome.

Ponderosa Campground, Cody, Wyoming

Date of Stay: June, 2013 - $38.00
Overall Rating:

The sites are old and small. Some of the utilities are on the wrong side of the RV. My sewer hookup was a few feet from my neighbor's picnic table. The bathrooms and showers are old and very small. The park is convenient to the Buffalo Bill Museums, which is why I would stay there again. We camped at Ponderosa Campground in a Motorhome.
